Ticket Office opened at 9.30 - I got into the que at 9.30 (after trying at 9.29 to be told it was closed!) I was 9th i nthe que! - took 10 minutes but I got my tickets - top tier.
Lookis like this one will be a sell out.
-
Id hazard a guess that all will be revealed by the end of this week anyhows.
I'll be there - the lure of a proper terrace being too much for me to resist.
-
and therefore unless Rovers waive the right to the 3000 tickets - we would be given the whole stand. In all honesty though I am not convinced we would bring many more than 2000, although our last trip to the fine city was a lovely day!
From memory the segregation at NP is permanent fencing surrounded by netting, is that still the case?
-
The FA Rule on ticketing is at least 15% - subject to police approval and segregation issues.
Now I dont know Ninian Park that well but Im not sure that it would be easy to give us 3000 (15% of 20000) and then have sufficient police/facilities to segregate the rest.
Rovers have the power to waive the 15% rule if they dont think we will sell them all, and as it is likely to sale or return - I suspect we will see an initial allocation of 2000, with more available should demand exist,

if we had no drummer, nobody would sing one song!!
Its always the drummer who has to start the song, its never the fans
Rubbish.
Go and sit at the top of Block N01 and you will hear fans starting many songs, only to pack in when the drummer starts half a beat later.
Another potentially good atmosphere ruined on Saturday. I wonder what this costs us in points?
The drummer stopped at least 5 chants I had started on saturday with his persistance in drumming out of time.

You cant keepo everyone happy with this one.
Ive only been to one away this season, Fulham.
The more detailed you get the more time consuming and administrative it becomes for the club (and therefore expensive) Some clubs (Man City for one) give points per game attended, home and away, with the points differing by distance.
Season tickets are sold as entitleing you to priority tickets, I for one have no problem with people who have been to more than me getting a further priority. I will get tickets, Ill be at Ewood at 9am on Thursday morning (cos Im tight and wont opay the booking fee!)
Personally dont see the issue here.
-
Its seated at the front and terrace at the rear.
-
Nah, we should take the whole away area, about 2,000 tickets. Anyway, its a reasonable draw, a ground most people havent been to and a chance go stand in terraces for the first time since i guess Craven Cottage was re-devoloped.
Its a game we should win, Cardiff have had a really crap season so far and ive got a feeling this game wont catch the imagination of the Cardiff public too much and so i doubt it will sell out, so wont be anywhere as intimadating as when Leeds went there.
There is the old FA Cup rule that we are entitled to 15% of the tickets for the ground (subject to police approval) so around 3000. We wont need anywhere near that though.
-
My ideal tie would be away to some local league 1 or league 2 opposition. with a nice terrace to stand on.

Excellent, the website has now been updated, great work my friend!!
All of a sudden going to Bolton sounds a hellova lot better, £24 or £21 rather than £35 which i think i will be taking up. Keep up the good work!
Out of interest was the two game restriction on previously?
-
And Once again Bolton (as with Fulham) aren't offering Rovers fans student prices - whilst offering them to their home fans.
Needless to say I have made my feeling known to Simon at the Rovers Ticket Office who sounds fed up to the back teeth of me - Sorry Simon, but 16 saving for Fulham and 7 for Bolton (both for me and mrs stuwilky) I cant afford £46 unnecessarily.
So are we going to be offered student price tickets then, cos according to the official site, there are only adults, children and oap tickets available?!
Yes, I got confirmation the other day and have contacted Lee to ask why the website hasn't been updated. He is following up.
The Football Supporters Federation are interested in ticketing at the moment, and I have been in discussion with them.

IanRally- I think it was Sept 1963.

Oh look.
They will be doing it.
-
But the main question is will Mrs Stuwilky be wearing sensible shoes this time
She was last time. For her.
Those leaves were nothing she couldnt deal with.

Lovely to meet StuWilkey and his glamourous girlfriend. Good work fella!
Wife mate!!!
Just got in after making a weekend of it, went down friday night! Id encho the comments about flying. piece of cake, and £34 return!!!
Really enjoyed the game yesterday. The players once again played out of their skins, ran rings arounda very poor Fulham side. How we didnt score more than 2 I dont know, and our goal difference could sure do with the help!
Finally got to meet some message board member, Scotty, Jordan, Manc Blue, Ricky and anyone else I missed. Shame we had to get to the London eye so couldnt come for a post match celebration in the 'Three Bells' (no wonder I couldnt find the place!)
Cant get to Palace so Bolton next away game.

Den, my comment was very much tongue in cheek.
-
Yorke is far from innocent in this yet it his him who has come out of it 'whiter than white'so to speak - now is that racist??
Well it appears that the guy pleaded guilty to racial abuse. Now that that's been cleared up, surely Yorke had every right to confront that person.
What is he guilty of?
Legally speaking - nothing
The Fa of course should charge him for entering the field of play with the permission of the referee
And Ethically speaking there is the old "blowing it out of all proportion" offence. With Mr Bruce his co-accused, The Tabloid press and News corporations are also accessories to this "crime"

Has anyone suggested that JJ.
I intend to cheer Andy Cole for what he did while he played for us, no other reason.
I will also give Mr Coleman a round of applause as well.
As we gave Dunny a round of applause when he was subbed on Sunday.
ITs called respected a good contribution.
-
Andy Cole will get a round of applause from me, I dare say that prior to kick off there might be a rendition of an Andy Cole song.
Once the game starts however I will be supporting the players currentlyin Blue and White.
-
Den,
I believe so.
I have also been contacted to give a statement.
-
Im unsure about Thommo starting - whilst he was excellent on Sunday, he looked knackered by the end. Id much rather he was brought on in the 60th minute (or maybe at half time) and give us a bit of umph in the second half against tired legs.
Aopart from that Id like to start the same team that finished against Brum.
And Id like MGP to make an appearance at some point.
-
Or maybe it's Sparta Prague.
Who plays in what colours?
Anyway I think that might be irrelevant at this moment. He's still a c**t.
Indeed it is.
And indeed he is! Although those c things can be useful!!!
-
Having finally seen the close upincident on Granada - after missing the news all day!!
It is absolutely the tosser I referred to earlier.
