  1. Decent pace. Great touch and vision. Passing was sometimes slightly off but that could be put down to the speed of the game.

People writing him off based on that performance are having a laugh. If we stay up then Rochina and Hoilett could become massive players for us.

I wasn't writing him off, but he defended like a 11 school boy, so he not a defender then either learn a little or stay away from the penalty area, but if he does that again he could cost us more points.

Look like he has talent though particularly because because the rest of our midfield look very average, just has a bit of learning to do.

  2. I do wonder what games people watch at times. He was playing off the front man and he's a striker by trade. Asking our best player today. IF we stay up an attack of Hoilett, Olsson, Rochina and Kalinic is an exciting one indeed. Of course, if we go down those 4 will be some of the first out the door.

Are you nuts if you are an attacker or midfield and you are defending a corner you can't allow that to happen, he was skinned to death, shocking

You can't say oh he's an attacker so it's ok, why was he defending then if he's not capable

    You must think like Kean

  3. Lets say they found out the grass is NOT greener on the other side.

    Alan Shearer

    David Bentley

    Roque Santa Cruz

    Benni McCarthy

    Lucas Neill

Tim Sherwood (Played well over 200 games for us winning the league in 7 seasons but managed less than half those games for the next 6 years, falling out at Spurs and finishing off at Pompey)

    Friedel? (Bankruptcy?)

Those are 7 off the top of my head.

The great tragedy in football was Shearer going to Newscastle.

Don't get me wrong he would have been nuts stayig at Blackburn under Harford, but he should have gone on to be the greatest ever striker at a club like Real Madrid or AC Milan

    What a waste.

    Dam shame.

ironicall the grass may have not been greener, but their bank balance was extremely green.

Neill made a load of money out of West Ham

  4. Watched Brazil vs Argentina U20's last night. Very entertaining though neither side especially Brazil had any concern whatsoever for their defence. And I thought we were playing very open lol.

Made for a truely entertaining game though with attack followed by attack. One player that really caught my eye though was Juan Iturbe for Argentina. Great skill and dribbling ability and I seem to recall the commentator stating he was only 17. Really refreshing to watch though.

If Juan Iturbe works hard and trains hard he could be the next Formica.

  5. don't see us close to going down this season, i think that return of a few players were will be very solid, and i would image nonda being dropped and another loan in Jan for up front and problems behind us.

PL is the place to be, i'd rather stay up, Div 1 was dark days, took a long time to rebuild our reputation as a PL club

problem is though the crowds make me feel like we don't deserve to be in the PL, i still think its is result of a multi-cultural Blackburn, but lets not go there

  6. strange game some good points some bad

Really cause we lost i'll start with bad

    BAD POINTS

I was shocked how BAD Nonda was, i don't have words to say how i feel, it was hard to watch

    Benni look little slow

Pedersen was poor, very poor, taking him off good call

What kind of wall was that??????????????????????????????????????

    GOOD

Oojier, Henchoz, Gray and Neil all looked good shame about Henchoz at the end, did not deserve that

Emerton man of the match, please don't be injuried

    Savage worked hard

  7. I was a little surprised about how much Nonda and Benni seem to be able to run away from crosses on Sunday, you know if you have Jansen or Sutton they battle for everything, but our strikers seems to always be in the wrong place and have no timing, and that’s not luck of a cross, it’s a natural ability, so I’m not surprised we are not scoring.

  8. can;t really blame Neil, every week Blackburn are saying how much they will try to keep Neill, he has made it simple, he has had five years and wants to move on.

don't thik he's good enough for Barca or Milan, will probably have a bad month get sent off and make mistakes and get dropped for good

but he has served his time
