  1. not really bothered, if he wants to leave its up to him, i don't take it personally, its his right to, been here long enough, i don't actually think he is good enough for a top 4 team, think his world cup silly tackle showed that, but then Liverpool seem to be buying middle table players lately so thats a likely place he will end up

  2. whether or not Ooijer turns out to be a good player is anyones "guess" pleasure may be right now or in few weeks someone will message him telling him how wrong he is, any experience posters have seen it all before so many times.

All i hope is that Hughes does not fav him just because he bought him for 2 million and wants to prove a point, and that he plays the best players, whether thats Todd, Ooijer or Henchoz.

  3. looks like i'm being proved right on ooijer (and, honestly, that gives me no pleasure).

he's harming our chances of a good start. he seems to set the rest of the defence on edge. no communication, poor position play, slack marking and slow at anticipating danger.

although i think Oojier needs dropping ASAP, he is a Dutch international, how would you have been proven right, have you seen him play badly before he joined Blackburn or just basing this on first couple of games

  4. The clean cut and fine upstanding Dutch International Ooijer will improve with every game and as Andy Neild, a great judge of all things concerning football has pointed out, it looks as though he has turned the corner. Sheff Utd wasn't our last game, Red Bull was. You didn't see the game and are just going round in circles taking "Dogs*** Dinnis' " word as gospel.

    Oh, crystal ball, crystal ball,

Save us all, tell me life is beautiful,

    Mirror, mirror on the wall.

  5. Call them what you like, they are squadplayers at best. Why do you include Roberts and McCarthy? They where bought in to be apart of the starting XI.

Another point, did we really need to replace players who didn't play at all (amoruso, johnson, gresko)?!

you just sound like your in a very negative frame of mind, i thnk if we win next two we would be probably top 8

there is a fine line between top 6 and bottom 6, i am not sure where we are now.

  6. last season Bellany miss most of the first 4 months, always injured and after December Kuqi was truely shocking, although start of season we scored against weak teams

really Roberts (although looking poor) should be a far better replacement for Kuqi and McCarthy is a gamble but in "theory" close to Bellamy although not sure about that.

Plus we now have two extra strikers on top that need to re-produce old form

things should improve but we will have an average season probably

  7. I find the Oijer bashing laughable as Rovers really defended well as unit yesterday.

You ask Ooijer if he thinks he had a good game, he looked like he wanted to die at the end, nobody is bashing him, he was the reason we lost the game, 2 major errors, these are FACTS, hopefully he will improve, but he was shocking yesterday and i'm sure he is pretty down right now

  8. So what exactly were you expecting? a faultless performance against the best team in the league? he needs time to adapt to the pace of the game and the physical side of premiership football is something he'll not be used to.

    Give the guy a chance......

obviously he will have a chance, but surely he can NEVER perform like that again, 4-5 major error, resulting in two goals, touch wood its a one off

  9. i wasnt discussing another strike partner. i was responding specifically to your idiotic comment---

MH bought kuqi and there is no way you will ever convince me he is worthy of a place in a side challenging for Europe.

Andy C was therefore right, Kuqi can;t get a place in the Blackburn team, the best we can hope for is sometimess if we a desperate he may come on and score another 6 yard goal off his shoulder haha
