Yep, will be confirmed at 5.30pm that he’s off to Germany. Go smash it, Adam!

Putting aside the shit show of our club, I just feel so proud of the lad. I knew on day one how special he could be. Fingers crossed he’s on that plane - good luck, Adam.

Curiosity prevailed. This episode of their pod has been released, so I listened to the last bit about Rovers.
What is the news? I hear you say...
Nothing. They just spent a few minutes kissing the Venky's asses for dropping season tickets by £30.
All these journos spouting ‘positive’ news for Rovers when, to coin an Office phrase, ‘there is no good news’ whatsoever concerning our football club.

That’s Nixon‘s ‘very good news’?

I wouldn’t class John Ruddy signing a 1 year deal as very positive
Me neither. The bar at Ewood these days however is very, very low.

Delighted for Adam, really am.
Further Illustrates how we had our pants pulled down big time though and we could have seen him in our colours for a further six months. Cheers Venky’s, cheers Steve.

I’m like a proud dad whenever I hear he’s done well or watched Palace’s highlights.
On the other hand it pisses me off so much that he didn’t get to see the season out with us before moving for 25m+. As Szmodics said in his recent interview, ‘he didn’t want to go’.
Palace will be laughing all the way to the bank; I know a host of other clubs were/are hindered by FFP but I’m still stunned it was pretty much just them in if for him. He’s generational.

Whenever that long awaited day finally arrives, it really can't come soon enough.
I genuinely hope no Rover gives this cretin the time of day from now on - he needs to know in no uncertain terms that he is not wanted any more. Meeting with him under any guise moving forward is simply stoking the flames IMO.

yet Man Utd’s midfielders couldn’t lay a finger on him.
Indeed. Now I’m not comparing their ability for one second, but the best player to have ever played the game, Messi, is famed for just strolling around in matches. The best make the beautiful game look the easiest.
As an aside, not bad for a lad who ‘had to improve defensively’:

We're reliant on Hull and Norwich IMO as we sure as shit won't help ourselves. We never ever do anything to dampen promotion parties - if anything we roll the red carpet and start popping open the fiz and party poppers. A half pissed Jamie Vardy would still sleepwalk past Hyam and Fadz.
Just get this season done with.

A move that happened way too early in the window, as many fans predicted, apart from the "be patient", "the club knows what they're doing", "I'll judge when the window's over" brigade.
IF we stay up I'm gonna lost the plot at the "give Venky's and Eustace the summer to sort it out FFS" brigade.

That's not an awful lot of room for error, just hoping Hull beat Plymouth.
These last games for Sheff Wed, Plymouth & Birmingham are just one off games, give everything, form goes out of the window. It's their absolute last chance, they will all be a different animal for these games.
We should have had this sown up against Sheff Wdd but instead we turned in one of the most inept performances of the season. Again, should have had it sorted against 10 man Coventry but didn't.
I think we've blown our chance and we'll go down on Saturday.
I am absolutely stunned that we're 18-1 to drop. I'm trying so hard not to "lump on" right now.
Like you, I just have this dreaded gut feel that we're going to drop. The other results really are not inconceivable whatsoever. Throw in a gutless performance from our boys and I genuinely feel like it can happen.
Edit: fantastic work by Superniko above. But I still have this nagging feeling...

Hull's #9 looks brilliant. What a bit of pace can do.
Pace?! Number 9?! What on earth are those?

Thankfully the twat can’t speak post match as he got a red.

Well I doubt we will get anything from Leicester. So were hoping that a Plymouth and Birmingham dont both win or only one wins and Wednesday dont at least draw.
Individually packaged each seems possible but all two in combination seems unlikely. Wonder what the bookies reckon.
As I say, add in Rovers under the Venky’s regime and that will seriously slim your odds.

If results stay as they are then it’s a step to safety
Need that win though
I’m still convinced we’ll somehow drop on the final day. It’s so Venky’s. It’s so rovers.

Eustace simply needs to grow some balls and go for the jugular here. A draw is not enough. 10 men, we have to win!

Last week was when we signed our own death warrant I'm afraid
Hard to disagree. One thing is as sure as shit with this lot - if it goes to the final day then we’ll drop. No two ways about it.

That lineup and formation has seriously pissed me off. He’s given the fans no cause for optimism whatsoever.
Zero, absolutely zero excuses for Eustace if he fucks this up today.

Rovers players: for the first time either grow a pair by 3pm or strap some on because we’re all sick and tired of these abject, gutless displays.
Just get the job fucking done - no excuses.

Wharton won’t be fit (no shock). Out for the majority of next season already. Onwards and upwards eh.

Everyone still think it was a good idea giving Wednesday a Wembley final at Ewood?
think Waggott missed a trick there not selling a few thousand more Wednesday tickets in the Jack Walker.
The club contributed to a great occasion for them. On and off the field. Encouraged nerves and bottled it.
Our CEO is a scumbag, has been for years in football.
If you didn’t know better, you’d be sure that our owners and CEO want this club relegated.

The Euros 2024
in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard

Hard to disagree. One thing I will say though, I can’t see any manager winning the euros with that defence.
