Its Friday, and still we await a response from those in charge to the Coalition letter....

It'll be interesting to hear if VI comments on it today in his presser. A couple of weeks ago I'm sure it would have been a resounding "it's nothing but detrimental to the team" but he's clearly a bit pissed himself right now. I still expect a similar party line, but you never know. All depends how bad things really are behind the scenes between him, Rudy and Suhail the snake.

  2. There’s a good reason that two much better managers than Ismael have rated him.

However, his swipe at De Neve post match went a long way for me to proving mine (and many others) theory that he cannot be selected for financial reasons.

Just looking ahead to the fixtures for the reast of the season, those final 9 games make for very bleak viewing.

    • Millwall away
    • Boro at home
    • Brum away
    • WBA at home
    • Stoke away
    • Coventry at home
    • Sheff United away
    • Southampton away
    • Leicester at home

The fact that they've not managed to beat any of the teams around them has me thinking it's inevitable that they go down this season.

Jesus Christ. I missed that off my ‘reasons why we’re going down’ post on this thread. That would have been number 2 behind Venky’s taking us down on our 150th year.

Taking out the coalition, trust, etc

I appreciate as supporters that you are looking for direction, etc.

The odd wins don't change anything. We still have these owners, and I want them gone, as many of you do. So why do we allow wins to continually paper over the cracks?

I'm essentially asking, what do you think is the most appropriate action now to take? We can't stop and start depending on results. Results won't change this ownership.

Targeting, Suhail. Don’t let the heat drop.

I’m convinced that’s our best shot of getting rid of them.

  5. There are too many ominous signs for why we will head down this season.

    - 150th season. I mean, that alone, under Venky’s ownership.

    - Can’t beat any of the sides around us

    - Can’t keep clean sheets

    - Not getting points from games we should do

    - Continuously conceding late winners/equalisers

    - Games abondoned on the extremely rare occasion when we are  winning.

Im afraid it’s happening whether you believe it or not, ladies and gents.

  6. I mean, I agree with Ismael that had Tronstad and Cantwell been fit all season that we'd likely be a few points better off. But let's not forget that the club are seemingly content with letting the former leave on a free at the end of the season (not to mention they'd no doubt be keen to get Cantwell and his wages out of the door too at the first opportunity). What then? Another Gardner-Hickman calibre of player to come in for Tronstad? If we somehow survive this season we certainly won't next.

Bayes: TGH off injured at half time, it looked.

    Will he be missed?

The latest issue is who is going to play RWB/RB with Alebiosu heading to Afcon? With more CM options I assume it’d be TGH. But if he’s injured, God knows. Even moving Miller to RWB/RB wouldn’t work given we have no centre backs.

I feel like I repeat myself after every home game, but two incredibly poor quality sides hoofing the ball back and forth.

Marginally better when Cantwell and Baradji came onto the pitch, but just not good enough.

1 home win in mid November is beyond awful.

Add a month on to that, Andy.

    One more chance in 2025…
