    In many ways, aye.

But I do also think, those with an axe to grind with JDT deliberately overlook just how badly JE has done on the whole tbf.

Apparently we’ve been ‘fantastic’ in the ‘10 or 11’ games prior to last night according to Eustace. Strange that as I could have sworn we’d won just one of those.

Another bullshitter to add to the long list.

  2. I know I've given him a bloody hard time, but I've just watched the goals back for the first time since watching them live last night. The first three and Dominic Hyam. Jesus bloody Christ. You'd be pissed off if someone made those three howlers in a whole season, let alone all inside 70 minutes.

Carter HAS to start for the remainder of the season. That's a club-ending appearance from our 'skipper'.

  3. No way in hell we beat Wednesday in a ‘must win’ game. Our rubber dinghy men haven’t won one of those since that lot rocked up over a decade ago.

Still simmering with that and I’m already home! Hopefully Hyam, Brittain and co were made to walk back because they sure as hell don’t deserve their place on that expensive bus!

  4. This bloke needs the captaincy ripping off him at full time. A disgrace to the shirt let alone someone the boys should look up to as our captain.

I really would put that in my top 5 worst individual Rover performances during my 30 years of following us. It was that bad.

Thing is, Bristol haven't even had to play well tonight - cruised in first gear, yet steamrolled us.

Pathetic, every single one of them.

Couldn’t agree more. City have not been that good at all - they haven’t needed to be. A half decent side playing with pride would have had them tonight.

This bunch of usless twats wearing our famous blue and white halves need king sized rockets shoved up their arseholes with a view to firing them out of the club for good.

First time at Ashton Gate tonight. I have circumvented my fears of the dirge I might be served up in exchange for my match ticket and hotel costs and day off work by partaking in this city's excellent public house provision. Half the time I think if I had to do all this teetotal I think I'd get another hobby.

Agreed with this. Bristol has some excellent pubs/bars. Couple of suggestions for folk en route(ish) to the stadium: Orchard Inn or Steam Crane. Both usually offering a good selection of local brewery beers and ales.
