Brittain, Hyam and co making Summerville look like prime Messi is one guarantee. As is a defeat.
The rubber dinghy men march on towards the home game against Sheff Weds.

I know I've given him a bloody hard time, but I've just watched the goals back for the first time since watching them live last night. The first three and Dominic Hyam. Jesus bloody Christ. You'd be pissed off if someone made those three howlers in a whole season, let alone all inside 70 minutes.
Carter HAS to start for the remainder of the season. That's a club-ending appearance from our 'skipper'.

No way in hell we beat Wednesday in a ‘must win’ game. Our rubber dinghy men haven’t won one of those since that lot rocked up over a decade ago.
Still simmering with that and I’m already home! Hopefully Hyam, Brittain and co were made to walk back because they sure as hell don’t deserve their place on that expensive bus!

Worst subs in living memory. Kept the one bloke on who was hellbent on letting them smack it in our goal everytime they got the ball.
I want some brutal honesty tonight for once or he can fuck off too.

This bloke needs the captaincy ripping off him at full time. A disgrace to the shirt let alone someone the boys should look up to as our captain.
I really would put that in my top 5 worst individual Rover performances during my 30 years of following us. It was that bad.

I hope the away end gave them both barrels.
I was trying. Not huge numbers joining in. Few Rovers players looked puzzled at those of us who were giving it to them.

At the train station and all I can hear is ‘worst team to come here all season by some distance’.

Hyam with another stinking pass to set up a counter for City. Duffy aside I cannot recall such an appalling performance from a centre half in rovers colours.
Our captain? He’s a joke.

Thing is, Bristol haven't even had to play well tonight - cruised in first gear, yet steamrolled us.
Pathetic, every single one of them.
Couldn’t agree more. City have not been that good at all - they haven’t needed to be. A half decent side playing with pride would have had them tonight.
This bunch of usless twats wearing our famous blue and white halves need king sized rockets shoved up their arseholes with a view to firing them out of the club for good.

Penalty for 4-0. i kid you not.

I’m struggling to remember a more gutless display than this in recent memory, and boy has there been some competition.
A total an utter embarrassment from the whole lot of them tonight. As for Eustace, Jesus Christ.

Christ. Gallagher showing his class this last 15 minutes....
His one redeeming feature was a bit of workrate, but now even that’s gone. Clear he’s off in the summer so can’t be fucked. Like a lot of them.

Anyone care to explain JE’s ‘plan’ this half to get us back in it? We look like we could play until next Christmas and not even create a single chance.

How in Gods name has Hyam stayed on over Wharton?

Hyam used to be good. He must have been corrupted by the rot of our club. Anyway, if we stay up this season, bet the house on relegation next season.
That and from memory he’s had a couple injuries. I’ve seen oil tankers turn quicker. He simply must be replaced at HT.

Anyone fancy this bunch of pansies against Sheff Weds in a 6 pointer?
Nah, me neither.

The Bristol City player is going down before Hyam gets anywhere near him.
I know you love hating on a ref, but just trust us who are here, it was a very blatant penalty.

Haven’t seen a replay but it didn’t look like a penalty to me in real time.
It was 100% a penalty.

Behind the goal for that, absolutely woeful yet again. What on earth Brittain was thinking.
As for Hyam get that twat off now. Pulling a Duffy here.
The most self inflicted 2 goals that you are likely to see at any level of football.

First time at Ashton Gate tonight. I have circumvented my fears of the dirge I might be served up in exchange for my match ticket and hotel costs and day off work by partaking in this city's excellent public house provision. Half the time I think if I had to do all this teetotal I think I'd get another hobby.
Agreed with this. Bristol has some excellent pubs/bars. Couple of suggestions for folk en route(ish) to the stadium: Orchard Inn or Steam Crane. Both usually offering a good selection of local brewery beers and ales.

Weather absolutely perfect in Bristol for a game of footie tonight 👌.

Apparently we’ve been ‘fantastic’ in the ‘10 or 11’ games prior to last night according to Eustace. Strange that as I could have sworn we’d won just one of those.
Another bullshitter to add to the long list.
