*Spoiler Alert* ?
Fingers crossed we can make it happen...??
I'm sure he'll do it. Bobby loves the club.

Quite brilliant. Thank you.
Any chance of doing one with Bobby Saxton?
I've given Herbie a contact for Bobby Saxton today.

I'll answer my own question.
In the football league this season there has only been 1 other game which has kicked off at 12pm and has not been televised - Blackburn V Leeds.
We are the only club out of the football leage clubs who do this.
This may be because we are one of the few clubs who can accomodate 7000 away fans, but that wasnt a problem in the premier league. So what is different?
We have Stuart Caley now.

Can't remember any recent trouble at Ewood apart from Oldham last season. Club and police seem unwilling to hold away fans inside to let home fans get away, which used to be common practice.

Show some commitment!
He’d quit his job before missing a midweek game with Ipswich or whoever remember!
....and sacrifice a romantic night with the missus, irrelevant if it's Tuesday, obviously.

Lancs police Twitter confirms PNE (and Leeds?) kick off times moved at clubs request.
Lies from the club then? Thought we were past all that.
No thought for those who work on Saturday mornings.
No thought for those whose kids play football on Saturday mornings.
We've had 20 years of full Darwen Ends at 3.00 or 7.45.
Can't think of another club that does this.
Family club my @rse. Caley out.

How do you know what he is talking about?
I am sure he watched clips as well as seeing him live before spending the money. But of course because Mowbray said BB played well against his team the narrative on here has now become "Mowbray signed him after he played well against his team once".
One of the most conservative managers tactically, personnel wise and transfer wise just went against everything we know of him and splashed 7 million on someone he saw play once. It doesn't really add up
Because I read his post!

Yet were you not the one saying those who watch players live know/see more than those who watch on tv?
He's talking about frequency of viewing not angle of view.

Many people have annual salary reviews effective from 1 April and, if they are lucky, extra disposable income. That's when season tickets should be on sale. Also the football season is still underway.
If you leave it until June/July, people are saving their disposable income for summer holidays. Also the season is over and a lot of people have switched off football.
I've come to the conclusion that Rovers will never be a major force under Venkys, with or without Mowbray, despite their wealth, because they are clueless about running a football club.

What a win in world cup year. Pity we can't play test cricket any more.

Steve Waggott has said (last Consultation Meeting or November meeting with Rovers Trust?) "We have done all we can on attendances". 82 pages on here say they haven't scratched the surface.

I’d say it’s more that they know they can make a quick buck from 7500 Leeds and Preston fans over the long term graft of increasing home numbers.
Ahh got you.

I’m taking about if PNE only bring say 4500 instead of 7500 due to it being 12pm and red button.
Having second division matches at £30 shows there is little appetite for big home gates.
Surely, from the club's point of view, big Rovers numbers are easier to steward than big visitor numbers?

It seems that non 3pm weekend matches also being on the red button took clubs by surprise this season (maybe read the small print in future!), so it will be interesting to see if these nook kick offs carry on next season.
Surely no conflict if the club is not trying to increase attendances.
