Is there a way of seeing if the EFL agree with this?
EFL approved it. That's how Waggott got away with it

Of the famous 1970's side of 4 wingers, Bailey, Hird, Wagstaffe & Taylor, Kevin Hird was sold for a club record fee of £300k to Leeds. I believe Kevin is still knocking around. Time he was recognised by the club.

BRFC is 145 years old on 5 November. That anniversary is worth marking with a pyro or 2.

Oldham Council flying a huge Lancashire flag over the Oldham Civic Centre today. Didn't expect to see that.

But I am confused i don't understand how we are worse? Would you rather the squad we had prior to Mowbray?
Didn't say worse. We are in a similar position. Have you managed to visit Ewood yet?

No chance. Blackburn Rovers. Same team as my Dad supported. And I remember the 1st game Dad took me to. I was hook on Rovers from 6/7 years old. I love looking back to the early PL years and some of those great performances. Will never forget
Peel Park was my mum's old school. Stanley played behind the school.

Great idea.
We should be targeting schools and kids under 11.
When I was at primary school(Peel Park Accrington) our Deputy headteacher Mr Henderson used to arrange/organised at least 1 game a season plus tea there and few matches in the indoor centre before. It was some great memories
Peel Park - you could have been a Stanley fan!

Free tickets for the Barnsley game being dished out in schools apparently.

I believe Holtby played in central midfield for Hamburg.
One thing is for sure, he needs to play the majority of games in a settled position. It makes some sense to have him in central midfield where he can perhaps dictate games and give us a step up in technical ability on what we have in there but I thought he was really poor v Leeds in there. Im not sure playing wide suits him best either, but with a license to be a bit more positionally fluid he has looked brighter looking to play one twos with Dack and just generally being more incisive with his passes than our other wide options who all seem to flatter to deceive.
For all of his obvious talent, I do think there is a reasonable chance that his spell here will be underwhelming just because I am not convinced exactly where he can fit in best. You would want him in a number 10 role but theres no way you can drop Dack.
Left back or right wing then obviously.

All well and good that OEB, but I am interested to know if the club shop will FINALLY have possession of some Harry Chapman photographs.

It is possible we may pick the same 7 or 8 players but in an ideal world we should be picking the same 11. When we won the Prem and won promotion back to the Prem the team was the same 11 every week barring injuries. Other teams also knew how we were going to play but we stuck to our basic game plan and most weeks it paid off. You and I could name both those teams now. I follow teams quite closely, even the Dingles, but it's coming to something when I can tell you what 11 they'll play next game but I haven't a clue what our team will be.
Regarding prospective managerial appointments I despair. Whoever you or I come up with I can almost guarantee that they won't be appointed. How many of Kean, Berg, Appleton, Bowyer, Lampard, Coyle, Mowbray were on your radar ? None of them were on mine. I was delighted when Lampard, Irvine and the other guy who's name I forget were appointed. I thought for once they'd made a sensible decision, what a good experienced team they appeared to be. However for whatever reason they managed to balls that up. I do wonder what that managerial team would have done with the £12 million plus that Mowbray has squandered ?

One shot on target is embarrassing. Tony needs to go. But he won't sadly. Said it on another thread but Radio Lancs need to do their job and ask some tough questions to Mowbray. Graham Liver and co don't hold back on MPs but the sports team never ever do the same to managers. Sad and smacks of protecting themselves.
They tow the club line because they don't want to lose their press accreditation.

It's egregious the lack of leaders we have on the pitch. Someone who will take the game by the scruff of the neck (ugh) and overrule the manager when the gameplan isn't working. Time was, we had a team of battlers (Todd, Neil, Flitcroft, Savage, Bellamy). I don't think you could name one player like that on our books right now. Maybe Lenihan?
This 'good group' shit is never going to work. Every good team has a good mix of 'characters'.
