This keeps coming about Brereton and it was a big lump up front for him. Presumably to get away from too many add ons and sell ons.

Around 5 mill i believe rising to nearly 7 over his contract so most of that will probably have been paid up now. He's improved but it was still shockingly bad business given what the team needed.

Oh yeah considering the holes all over the field, it wasn't wise to lump it all on a striker

According to a lad on Twitter it’s 2 first half goals in 14 matches. Throw in conceding first in 12 of the last 15 matches (not 16) and the stats are beyond damning of what an awful manager we have at the helm.

It's an absolutely alarming stat.  With the likes of Armstrong and Elliott up the top end it's particularly damning.

Calm down. He can't see my posts.

He is a waste of £7m though. Sorry that upsets you.

It's just boring seeing the usual suspects jump on everything he does wrong.  He's playing better than most today, he was very good earlier in the season.  Wasn't most of the £7m in performance-related add-ons?  I'd have spent the money differently but hey ho.  Not BB's fault.  And I think Mowbray's management of him has been shocking.

I'm old enough to remember when he had a couple of half-decent games and some on here started saying he was worth £7m🙄

He was calling Mowbray a clown for his treatment of BB.  Get off Breo's back would you.  Half-decent?  He was one of our best performers earlier in the season.  Some of you are willing the guy to fail to justify your initial criticisms and issues with his fee.

  5. My mate was saying the grass looks thatched.  A sign of it not being taken care of properly.  My manager at work also said that someone showed images of Accy’s pitch today next to ours and theirs is in much better nick.

Am I right in remembering we sacked our top groundsman who’d been with us for years sometime during the Kean era and he was made to sign NDAs, and the pitch has been on the decline ever since?

A home game being called off for waterlogged pitch.  Crikey.  I can’t remember the last time it happened.  Amateurish really.

Definitely, he looks much better than Johnson and Travis.

I rate Travis highly, he's just been poor since injury, but surely it's clear Davenport is better of Johnson in almost every category.  Quicker, more energy, more bite, neater on the ball but also got quite the peg on him.  A couple of very nice cross-field balls today.

Brereton is absolutely dog sh*te. Had about 3 semi decent matches this season - some on here got far too carried away.

I think you're talking bobbins but there's been a good few folk who have been willing BB to do poorly so posts like this aren't surprising.  He's not been good since his return from injury but he's done more than Dolan this second half.

Ah, so no examples of any actual end product yet. Cool. Hope you're enjoying through the rose tinted spectacles.

I like Dolan, but a few step overs on the touchline, whilst nice, are goals or assists.

    Hopefully he delivers second half

No end product at the moment.  He's played maybe one good ball to someone out wide but no crosses of note.  Should have slipped Brero in then after good work
