Boro are like rovers they don’t do signing on fees they do loyalty payments at the end of contract I am led to understand - if we accept the suggestion he was on £3k or so a week at Ewood suggesting he is worth a £17k a week pay rise is beyond comprehension based in his playing attributes - he is a long way off from being a top championship right back or wing back
He’s one of the better right backs in the league, how many are better? Not that many

Anyone heard a rumour about Cameron Brannigan ?
Would love that to be fair, too good for League 1.

Time for change then, let’s see who JDT can bring in. If he didn’t want to be here then there’s the door.

No chance we get him.
He's class.
Looks like a big lad.

Word from Sweden that Rovers are keen 23-year-old Bosnian international defender Anel Ahmedhodzic. Contracted to Malmo, but spent last season on loan in Ligue 1 with Bordeaux, who had a 4m Euro option to buy, but won’t be taking it up after their relegation

Honestly , for someone who doesn’t fall for talk and believe actions speak louder than words he has got me like a giddy blushing school girl 😂
And me, haven’t been this excited for years 😂

Pretty sure getting the manager situation sorted was more of a priority first.

Some other Broughton - Bodø/Glimt connections they could look at:
Fredrik Bjørkan - leftback, Hertha Berlin, 23 years old. Not regular.
Patrick Berg - midfield, Lens, 24 years old. Not regular.
Philip Zinckernagel, midfield, Watford, 27 years old. Was on loan to Forest last season.
Erik Botheim, striker, no club, 22 years old. Last played for Krasnodar in Russia.
And this is a long shot for many reasons: Mathias Normann, midfield, Rostov, 26 years old. Was on loan to Norwich last season. Normann left Glimt the same year as Broughton started there.
Patrick Berg, FM sensation!

The jealousy of PNE and Burnley fans is creeping out.
I saw one post of a Burnley fan claiming JDT hasn't managed in England before. Two hours after Kompany was announced for them 🙄
PNE fans posting, who is he? PNE managers greatest footballing accomplishment?
L1 runner up 🤣 🤣 🤣
Cameron Archer on loan just to annoy them even more.

Welcome JDT, very excited to see what he can bring and nice to see an upbeat reaction around here to see what he can do. As others have said, it’s something different to what we’ve been used to so let’s enjoy the ride.
-
Would of thought Brum are up there as worst run in the league.

Starting to get moist about the thought of JDT, not only in profit but it feels like an exciting change.

If it's correct, some easy money to be had on SkyBet at 4/6.
Already had £50 on the other night, £175 back. It’ll do.

If he's announced the season ticket money will remain in the bank.
Yes I'll support the guy, thats what we do, but he's not of the calibre needed to get this club into the Premiership, he's the cheapest option willing to tow the party line.
Venkys out.
What if he’s good? We won’t know. Same could be said about all of the unknowns at other clubs who have exceeded expectations.

Genuinely think woodgate is the worst appointment possible out of the likely candidates , followed by pardew. Anyone else I could get behind even if it’s not that inspiring
Good job it’s JDT then.

Just don’t get good vibes about JDT. Based on nothing but what I’ve read in here I just don’t feel it would be the right appointment after Mowbray. It does look like it’s going to be him though so it’s get behind the lads and go again and hope for the best
It best be JDT I put £50 on it last night stupidly…

Nobody called our DOF.
I wouldn't be surprised if we've not mentioned the new manager in this thread.
Don’t know if that’s scary or not.
