That's rubbish with all due respect. Malmo always win that league, one man and his dog would get them the title. Look back a bit and apart from getting the assistant managers job at Denmark due to his playing ability he only last 6 months and got relegated in his previous role...
Best we could hope for.....what a load of tripe 🙄
Knew you’d be happy.

I'd take Rooney if for no other reason than to show John Buckley how to shoot.
Poor strike against Brum.

JDT did well in Swedish league albeit only being the Swedish league, two league wins in two seasons, did well in the Champions League in one of those seasons. Not as experienced as some but not much different to Knutsen.

Rovers having problems with getting Ronny’s current club New York & fighting it out with Standard …
The US club are not happy with him and are refusing to sanction his release …
Standard Also took their DOF and they have refused to sign his release for the next 3 months …that’s their minimum notice order for all their staff……so he’s snookered as well…….
work Permit would also be an issue for Ronny ……. Another delay which Rovers can’t afford ……
Anything on Knutsen or is that not happening?

Good job we have Hayden Carter, what a player he’s going to be.

Anything positive?

To be fair what’s he supposed to say? He’s not going to be negative is he. Whether it works out or not we don’t know.

Not just talking about europe though, says a lot that despite winning titles the football was so poor that attendances were massively down they had to shut a stand.
he is not well regarded in Celtic circles
I’ve also seen good things said about him from some Celtic fans so don’t think he was all that bad.

If we're talking about Europe, as the article points out, how many successful European campaigns have Celtic had?
Mowbray failed there, simple as, Deila didn't.
For me, it's an appointment that shows a bit of imagination and would definitely break the mould of dragging someone off the scrapheap.
Rodgers didn’t do much in Europe either did he? I haven’t researched but can’t recall.

Makes me laugh when people get written off as soon as they walk in the door, give the guy a chance. Progress at last

Don’t know too much about him, but looks like a good appointment. Now onto the manager. Knutsen would be ideal.

Just who is early to the party?
The Norwegian guy who reported it.

Sharpe says the name being doing the round for a few days, begs the question, why not report on it then?
Only reports it when he sees somebody else has, always late to the party.

I’d take all 3 over Deila without a second thought.
Based on what? Dunc zero experience for one.

Such as?
Warne, Dunc, Ainsworth among others.

Would take Deila, better than some of the names mentioned lately.

Rovers budget this summer is £1.6m this includes wages and transfer fees! No manager in their right mind would take that on.
That would mean signing 2 freebies on 15k a week! 🙈 Obviously this hopefully changes if there’s player sales.
Like anyone here would know the budget.

I’d even take Solskjaer at this rate
