Would like an update on this if anyone has been by Ewood recently.
Weeds still growing? Still dirty looking from the outside?

Depends who the manager is i suppose. My worry is how many subs we make each game....like, he virtually changes the front 4 and the right back every game.....I checked, other teams we have played recently haven't made as many as us.
Its completely the wrong way to manage
So true. Change the full attacking midfield and the RB every single game.
The manager issue is the million dollar question. If TM goes who do we replace him with. My heart says Hughes my brain says another Coyle cheap option
-
Back to the game. Something struck me at full-time today. We will definitely loose arma in the summer. Fee probably 15 - 20 million. How the hell do we replace his goals. Gally up top at long last maybe? Or big Ben to finally show his worth
-
Under normal circumstances a point away to Cardiff is a good result. However 8 points from the last 40 odd available is just not acceptable. I've argued with most of you on this site re my stance on TM. He came in, stabilised the club, almost avoided relegation against all odds. Promotion at the first attempt and prior to this season improved us each year.
However even I can see that he's taken us as far as he is capable of doing. That squad should be top 6 no excuses.
Hopefully he goes in the summer with his dignity in tact.
What next from the Vs? That's anyone's guess. At least we good some good news this week re the STC.

Saying that would he have performed under Mowbray for us? I doubt it.
He would have been made to watch smallwood and Evans before he got into the team lol

Football is secondary at the minute. Owners just keeping people, who can manage a land sale and negotiate with builders. Not to mention keeping spouting bollocks to keep some fans hoodwinked.
Nail on the head. I'm more worried about the future of the club than sacking Mowbray and replacing him with another cheap manager.

Elliot has regressed massively. He's been shite since Christmas.
He has totally lost interest playing for a lower mid table championship club. I bet he was sold the journey when he signed and would have been expecting to be chasing promotion atm.
He like many others have downed tools.
This is just unacceptable and a sacable offence our performances and results are just not good enough.
I've a feeling this was a last roll of the dice season. Sacking Mowbray won't change a thing. Dark days ahead. STC (sold) Armstrong (sold) Nyambe gone. Kaminski will probably have interest.
Fasten your seat belts coz this is gonna be one long depressing summer

I love JRC but that lad isn't gonna fulfill his potential. He must be made of chocolate.

True.
I don't think there would have been many complaints had he been subbed off for Elliott at the break though.
You would surely still wonder why if he wasn't injured. You don't sub your best player. ACLs are horrible injuries and most often happen in freak circumstances, just like the last time against Wigan. The injury isn't anyone's fault.

Considering how everyone is commenting on how bad this pitch is and how tiring it is for the legs playing on it, he probably should have been subbed off instead of Buckley. Only just came back but I can understand both Dack and Tony wanting him to get going.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Can you imagine the reaction on here if dack had off got subbed for Johnson when we are 1 down and chasing a game. Lol

Sharpe has just posted that it's the other knee. So unlucky for Dack

Would it really be confirmed that quick?

to spend 5 million quid on him and then play him out wide is a footballing crime,i really can`t understand it,mowbray is apparently an experienced manager so im`e deducing he`s either totally stubborn or just a ***** idiot, who can`t see the wood for the trees
Stubborn is what he is. Because the odd time it works out and Gally plays well. I genuinely think he wants to prove the supporters wrong. But 9 times outta 10 it dosnt work. So fucking annoying. I actually feel sorry for Gally as he does give it his all

But Mowbray has made him like this. In reality he is not that bad. Never worth the money, never the striker we were looking for ---but not as bad as he now is.
Agree with this 100%. Played as a forward I think he would be a decent championship player. Played on the right wing and with the shit he gets from the supporters, it's no wonder his confidence is shot.
And that's on Mowbray, nobody else to blame but the manager for that

We had the option to extend by a year. We didn't need to do anything.
Dack had enough credit in the bank to warrant a new contract. It was a good move to sign him up. I dont know about you but I got a massive lift when I seen that he had signed a new deal. As I'm sure most supporters did.

As much as I love the guy we should never ever have given Dack a new contract until he'd proven he could stay fit and get back to his best. Yet more money pissed up the wall whilst complaining we have no money.
Hope it isn't as bad as it looked but if it is I don't see a chance of him coming back from it.
This is nonsense. His contract was up THIS summer. We needed to get him to sign a new deal.

Looks bad for Dacky

We are just so easy and predictable to play against for the better teams in the league.
Anyone watching tonight on sky who dosnt follow rovers, would probably think we are a decent enough team. It's soo f'ing frustrating. That squad is capable of so much more than we are currently seeing.

Yet another abject performance from a team clearly lacking in confidence. The Everton loanee has been brutal recently. We can thank Warnock for that.
I've been very vocal on this forum that I backed Mowbray, but football is a ruthless game and it's definitely time for a change. Them players are no longer behind the manager.
Where do we go from here? Sack TM and bring in a top manager or scrape the bottom of the barrel and appoint Coyle MK2, I fear it will be the latter.
One thing is for sure venkys next move will tell us exactly what they want from the club. Appoint a good manager and have another go at promotion, with a very capable squad. Or appoint another plodder, sell the playing assets along with half of Brockhall. Very worried about the future of my club currently

I don't know who we play next, nor do I particularly care.
This is 100% true on my behalf. I fear for an asset selling exercise in the summer. I hope to god I'm wrong.

Two big concerns for me are Dack and Travis.
Many were saying 'just wait until we can throw Dack and Trav in the mix'.
IMO, Dack is really struggling. Will he really be the same force again? Was it wise to give him a lucrative new two and a half / three and a half year contract before Christmas?
Travis hasn't recaptured his form and to me looks 'leggy' and lethargic.
Dack has got a long way to go before he gets back to his best. But it was absolutely the rite decision to tie him down to a contract.
Travis. His injury wasn't as severe. He's one of the players in thinking has lost faith in the gaffer. He's playing like he dosnt care or dosnt want to be associated with the current set up.

Your mowbrays biggest fan though , he needs binned now
Wouldn't say I'm his biggest fan. But I appreciate what he done for my club in its darkest times.
I still respect him, but something isn't right at the moment. I think he's lost the dressing room and when that happens change is needed.
But god knows who the loons from pune would appoint if he goes and we could find ourselves in a worse position
-
Played OK today
Certainly not as bad as previous games. But not good enough to win and I never at any stage felt like we were going to win or even nick as point to be honest.
I'm ashamed to say i stopped watching after 80 mins and put the Millwall game on as a Millwall win would have won me near 700 in my acca.
Managers live and die by their results and I believe TM should be allowed to see the season out and leave with decency.
It's amazing how rovers can manage to ruin your weekend. 😭

Rovers v Derby - 6pm, Friday 16th

Very lucky to be still in the game at half time. Derby should be in front & they are poor.
We need a point or 2 to scrape past relegation then get rid off him in the summer
