QPR, Millwall, Sheff Wed have all had managerial changes that have had an impact, especially when you consider their respective league positions when they went in, the results are plain to see - this fella obviously hasn’t, luckily he had a very handy buffer to fall back on.

Though I suppose he has steadied the ship as it hasn’t sank yet, but he couldn’t actually steer it into calm waters like the bosses of those other clubs.

    Very well put.

Actually, the odds were 19/2 which I agree are pretty ridiculous for 2 teams in the Championship, however, football is a 'funny old game'!

To cap it all, had the winner in The National today whilst the wife (who picks her horses by name or if Rachel B is jockey) had a nice each way on Rachel Blackmore's third placed Minella Indo.

With Rovers winning as well, will be an enjoyable Saturday night!

Don't start bringing Mrs M's tips as well, unless she backs against you 😁

On the match - Jesus H Christ on a bike! Why are our players either hot or cold?

  3. Sat in Derriford hospital (Plymouth) having my 6th dose of Pembro and all appears to be going well although I've got an ultrasound in a couple of weeks as my last scan showed my bladder was somewhat enlarged but haven't got any symptoms of anything being wrong.

The care, communication and treatment I've had from this hospital is fantastic, the only downside (2/3 times) is my local surgery keeps managing to cock up my blood test dates/times/samples.

Less than 5 months to retirement, can't wait! 🏆

Love Adam Wharton and think he’ll be in the England Squad by the end of 2024, he’s unique in that position in terms of keeping the ball & playing forward passes. Every inch the Lancashire Pirlo and twice the player of the Yorkshire version who got a move to City.

Needs to keep working on the defensive side of his game though, KDB made him look distinctly average for both his goals.

KDB can do that to most players though.

The stagnation and death of a football club laid bare in simple stats.

Whilst all the competition engage and grow their fanbases, most without PL football to rely on, Blackburn Rovers is the clear outlier, actually seeing a small drop whilst rivals witness a boom of several thousand.

To those who care those figures are horrifying, alarming, worrying and if allowed to continue will see this club die a slow death when combined with demographic changes in the area.

To those who don't care something about how we used to get smaller numbers back in 1984 so it's all normal, natural, fine.

To Waggott and Venkys, go to hell.

Next season tickets sales will exemplify that.

    Ta.

edit - just noticed it's actually mentioned on the WATR minutes that have just gone up.

I also want some shelves in the JW Upper like they have in the Blackburn End so you can actually put your pint down somewhere other than on the floor when you eat your pie. But I'll wait till there's less pressing matters on that one. 🤣

    That idea would be shelved.

    Got my coat on already.
