I’ve just watched a short feature on the BBC News at 1 about the impact of footballers developing dementia due to heading the ball. It featured our very own Tony Parkes and Alan Gilliver. It’s so sad to see the effect this devastating condition has on individuals and their families. It certainly brought a tear to my eye seeing them now and how I remembered them wearing the blue and white shirt. God bless them.
