Callum Camps,  who people have mentioned in connection with Rovers in the past has been released by Rochdale. It'll be interesting to see where he ends up.  They've also released their long time leading scorer Ian Henderson. Henderson would have been a decent signing when we were relegated but that ship has sailed.

I still keep an eye out on Camps, great player and I think he’d step up. Solid runner type.

Hes a free agent, very injury prone and had to go into League 1 to get game time but as you say I suspect he is far more realistic.

I think the drop down was because he went there injured. Back issue. 100 appearances at this level in 4 years isn’t too bad for someone who found themselves 4th choice at Brizzle and the aforementioned details.

  3. Forget Ayala those wages would be huge. Il throw a name about Bailey Wright went up with pne became a no nonsense type centre back went to Bristol city for 3.5 million finished last few months of the season at Sunderland racking up the motm awards. He’s on a free this summer, Australian international, I’d suggest that would be more realistic if we even actually do look at anyone.

Rangers have announced that Andy Halliday and Jon Flanagan have both been released. Flanagan looked very good when he broke through at Liverpool and he’s only 27. Wonder if he could be an option at full back for us. I don’t know a great deal about Halliday. Maybe someone with a bit more Scots football knowledge can add something.

Halliday is a die hard ranger but woefully lacking any technical ability. L2 is his natural level.

flannagan looked okay but kept getting injured, woman beater and nephew or Bradley Orr. I’d rather stab my eyes out with a fork

Somebody on here said they feel sorry for Paul Lambert. I feel sorry for the 1.5K or-so Rovers SUPPORTERS who paid £30 plus booking fee and expenses to witness that.

There's a pattern. When we dominate the first 15 minutes, we don't win. When will we start to play for 90 minutes instead of being "brilliant for the first quarter"? When will we have a good game after a relative period of rest?

Bennett was at fault for the penalty, although the wider blame for today's catastrophe falls well and truly at Mowbray's door. Our lack of recruitment in January is now costing us. Must do better this summer.

Even more so when the likes of Holtby who’s out can’t be arssed watching the lads and instead is in Dubai on a jolly. Whilst his team mates threw the towel in he was on the beach.

Hence why I feel we needed a centre back. At the moment any quality would be an improvement!

Clearly Mulgrew will never play for us again if he can't get on the bench when there are literally no other defenders. Also looks a bit thin in the full back positions too although at least there are people who can play there.

Says allot about Mulgrew and Smallwood that they’ve been nowhere to be seen
