Soon after BCD started Mowbray said that games were like training sessions.

That attitude permeated the squad and scrubbed any PL aspirations and manifested itself in Mowbrays disinterested demeanour on matchdays

Basically, if he's not bothered with team motivation he should do one.

It's about PRIDE in the Shirt

He is literally deluded and coming out with Kean levels of tripe. I just want him gone I can’t stand him at the moment.

The weird thing was why did we sign Ferguson when we had Tugay? I mean they are very similar types of player - but Tugay is a genius while Ferguson run of the mill. Bringing Ferguson in was only going to out one of put best players of all time on the bench to justify the price....

    Just seemed unnecessary.

And I was pretty sure we did everything to try and keep Duff but he had a release clause and there was nothing we could do about it.

Barry in his pomp was a true box to box midfielder. Advocaat used to play him higher up the pitch, was only in his later years he dropped deeper and deeper. Still regarded as one of the best transfers Birmingham made, he’s one of the best PL players they’ve had.

We didn’t get the best out of him coupled with his knee injury but I remember him coming back under Hughes and he absolutely ran the game I think against Sunderland? He may have scored towards the end too.

After the lockdown football we’ve endured I’d take maradona and Barry fry. At least we would be entertained even if it can’t be in the grass

    You’d be smoking it ?

    Confession time?

? He’d clear a good lot of the shysters in our payroll. Don’t let him be responsible for transfers but as a coach ask our man Tommy Miller 56 days pre season training even isnjired. Came back at 34 fittest he’s ever been in his career. Our lot have had it to easy on bowyer coyle Mowbray street time to flush them out. Bring in Paolo

Thanks for the ban Khod just for you...

As time passes it appears Senior was parachuted in mid season to 'troubleshoot' given our lowly league position. Remember at the time we only had Cheston looking after the finances and Sheikh lurking in the shadows.

Rather than do the normal thing, fire Coyle and appoint a proper management team to keep us up it was seen as preferable(cheaper) to bring this guy in until the end of the season and him use his 'expertise' (bullshit) to calm the fans down and address the situation.

If we'd have survived he might have earned himself landed himself a longer term position but in the end relegation meant he wasn't kept on and a change in direction happened. Mowbray managed to escape any blame, got himself a new deal and control, bringing his mate in as CEO whilst Senior was possibly too expensive or took some of the blame for relegation. Unless part of the b.s. was telling Venkys he knew how to keep us up.

A weird transfer window where we only signed Lucas Joao who he also put in at Sheffield Wednesday.

Some digging into his claims quickly unearthed that he was something of a snake oil salesman with things he claimed to have done at past clubs actually happening before or after he was there.

All very odd and another name on the long list of them through the revolving Venky door. Could certainly talk the talk and seems to have a knack of picking up these Big money temporary positions but delivering little.

Lucas Joao who was part agent of HSH Craig Honeyman. Step forwards Mowbray, Smallwood and co.

Mrs Senior dabbed the details wasn’t enough for the intermediatry lists though. Paul from Pilsworth

    Parasites the lot of them.

You I would be critical not over critical!

Rankin Costello has step up to playing at left back and I think he done a fairly good job in a position he never played in before. I think he will a regular first team by the end of next season.

I have watched Rankin Costello played the right wing back role for the under 23's for nearly 2 years. So he can play that role in my opinion, Yes Nyambe is good at defending but awful going forward and not enough to suit the attacking full back role.

You keep banging on about wingers? We don't play with Winger under Mowbray and we never have. He wants his full back to provide the width Whether we play 4-2-3-1 or 4-2-2-2 formation going forward into next season and beyond.

You used the term Super fan to get a rise from me. Yes I can't wait to get back into Ewood Park watching live games and hopefully the under 23's and 18's games next season. Watching Rovers games on TV isn't the same for me and miss being there. Aren't you missing attending games or not? If you are can you next wait until next season then?

Well the season starts in roughly 7 weeks time and with the pandemic and Restrictions on travel means Mowbray and co don't have to go to India. Which might work in our favour. Who said they have only just grasped Video Calling considering they have businesses interests in Switzerland aswell. They like meeting their managers face to face. Whether its Kean or Bowyer or Mowbray. You might say why don't they come over here or even meet in Switzerland but that's sadly isn't their way. We might run the club different.

Yes I seen the comments on Downing and others from Mowbray. You look at that and say considering their wages Downing and Graham are on currently he wants to wait until his budget is finalise to offer them contracts for next season. I wouldn't offer Graham and Downing new contracts on the same wages at all.

Who knows, We could have offers in for a keeper or 2 and defenders but nothing leak yet which is bonus in my opinion.  On Whiteman, clearly we have had a bid accept in so we have funds available otherwise he wouldn't be in for talks tomorrow.

Next season when I’m in the NW. il buy you a pint at one of these games Chaddy

Just doesnt make any sense to me, considering that the manager said less than 24 hours ago that he isnt even in a position to offer a contract to Downing such is the lack of clarity from the owners. And even then, even for him it would be careless to spend on a midfielder considering what we need the most.

The rumour has been around for a year or so now. Maybe there is a meeting, just seems a bit pointless to me and a bit illogical to have one when there is a big chance that we cant afford him and even if we can, we have no defence or goalkeepers.

If it does end up happening, fair play. Will hold my hands up.

Then it just wont make sense considering his position, or maybe it will with Mowbray signing a cheap loanee in net last minute!

I'd forgotten the Berg situation. Rangers ended up signing Berg to replace Amoruso as well. We definitely got the worst end of that deal.

Maybe I was being a bit generous on him as well.

Had no pace and a dodgy heel injury if I recall correctly. Also had a cookbook, a cracking powerful free kick and a decent header we got him to late. He’s absolutely ripped hitting 50 though.

  8. won’t forget meeting him twice, first time after the villa game in the directors lounge asked him to get the club to supply the coaches for the Brentford games. Said he’s have to run that by the owners as he didn’t have the permissions to do that.

2nd time his over use of the word aforementioned. Slippery as a snake covered in vaseline.
