People have been moaning on here that TM had been shafted by the owners but when he appears to be getting the cash to spend people are complaining! Absolutely laughable. When people perpetually say “it’s a gamble” it makes me angry. Name a transfer that isn’t a gamble. I remember people saying 12 months ago “why are we paying 750k for a one season wonder”. Rhodes didn’t have a single championship goal under his belt. The reason TM hasn’t gone for more ‘proven’ players is because of wages! Would people on here be happy for the club to go back handing 40k per week to dole dossers?

Why did we wait until 4:40 pm on deadline day to make an offer?

Why are people talking like we’ve signed him? High chance it’s a fake imo.

If a bid was made it would have been hours ago.

I was expecting 2 more permanent additions after TM’s comments, but that will be unlikely. When did we last announce 2 on the same day? If we don’t get 2 more permanents in of decent standard I would be pretty darn disappointed.

When Mowbray said something along the lines of “let’s see if the cards fall in the right order” it seems to me we are waiting until the ast minute to see if deals will come off. If they do we may get 2/3 in, if not we may only get 1 and the rest loans, some of those with a view to permanent buys.

We are averaging 110 pages per signing so far. The passion for this club is still alive and kicking!

Surely we must be offloading a couple of CM’s?

Darragh Macanthony said he’s never been an issue and great 99% of the time.

We could get Maddison for £1.25 million (£2.5 million over 2 years) and Bauer for probably £1 million. The McGinn link suggests we’ve got a few bob left to spend.

I’d get Bauer and Maddison with a target man on loan.

It’s now obvious Bauer is trying to force through a move. Let’s hope it goes the full Odemwingie. We love the drama at Rovers don’t we!

We’ve had 3 bids rejected for Bauer now. It’s constant back and forth according to Bowyer. The player wants to come to us.
