I think you’re referring to ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ and whilst I know what that is, I know I’ve never used that to describe Rovers fans and their relationship with Venky’s. Though others have in the past, admittedly.
thats the term.. You used it the other day in reply to me.. I'd never heard of it until then..

Woah, hold on there cowboy. The first sentence may be right, but after you said I was spot on, that’s all you pal ?
I couldn't remember the term you used.. The one regarding falling in love with your kidnappers..
-
KHODs verdict is spot on.. Some of our fans(many) have fell in love with Venkys. They actually believe they are good for the club. Unreal.
-
Bids for Bauer, Trapp.. You get this from HITC site? I've seen nothing official.

At the end of the day, TM stated pre India trip that he wants to build us up over time to compete to get back in the prem. That can only be done with perm additions. If we are loaning every season, we are building nothing.

I’m quite sure that Mowbray and Waggott said they had a remit and budget, so the bold paragraph essentially would suggest they lied.
You really believe they'd tell us there's no funding, with season tickets to be sold?

By definition he is calling Mowbray a liar. And to be fair i'l post what I like if it's not breaking rules or being rude to someone.
We all know Venkys are shit owners but we have been told on numerous occasions by the manager that he is happy with his budget.
Being given a budget suggests to me Waggot and Mowbray don't have to have every signing signed off by India.
If we end up being light and not signing enough quality then for me it will be down to the manager and recruitment team misjudging the market or not making moves early enough.
Saying all that I'm trusting what Mowbray says and expect to see at least 2 perm tomorro
Unbelievable you'd blame mowbray and waggott if we end up light..
We all know who the evidence points to.

I've heard it suggested TM had to plead for the funds for Armstrong, as a special case. There may be funds remaining, but IMO it'll only be wage funds for loans.
As I say, had again.
Venkys out.
-
Sorry but I fail to see how we are going to sign the 4 or 5 players we need to be a reasonable force in the championship this season by the Thursday deadline. We've been had again.
Venkys out.

Used to start in Brewers(then in later days, postal order).. Possibilities after that were plentyful!

To be fair, there’s a fair bit in Darwen and there’s more in Blackburn than there has been for ages.
Admittedly, there’s next to nothing in Accrington, bar local pubs then people’s houses...
In the 90s when I was out in Blackburn, there was lots of bars.. Peppermint place.. Club euro.. Margo's clubs.. Jazzy kex.. Something for everyone.

So glad so glad I had my teens-early 20's in the 90s.. I'd be so bored if I had them now with no nightlife scene anywhere.

Guessing he's a creative player who plays a bit deeper, in the Tugay/Carrick/Pirlo mould.
Guess we'll only find out if we sign him.

He's scored 2 goals in 146 games for Columbus. Doesn't suggest an attacking midfielder.

Yet Trap is described as being able to drive forward from midfield.
I know nothing about him.
-
I've been led to believe trapp is a defensive midfielder, and questioned as to why we need another of these?
In my own belief, TM only wants defensive midfielders in the 'two' in front of the back 4.

Who's Chris martin? Don't know anything about him. Ain't he a singer?

No he’s saying you improve your side from a position of strength. He then outlined who from that side could potentially have been improved on.
It’s what elite clubs do and unfortunately we rested on our laurels in the summer of 1995 and our position at the top of the game went in a flash.
Kenny wanting the liverpool job back screwed things up, along with jack walkers loyalty to Ray Harford.

Supposedly he had a meeting with Oyston today - being transfer deadline week, perhaps he was told nobody can be brought in or someone to be sold was the final straw?
I DONT imagine the truth will leak out of that madhouse.
Fixed for you.

City have just won their league in a canter. Do you think they sat down in May and said " Well we've walked this league, no need to sign anybody ? Not a chance.
When we won it that summer we should have gone out a got a top class left winger to replace Jason Wilcox and a top class centre half to replace Ian Pearce. The next close look at your two least effective players and replace them. That's how you keep on winning things. Not like we did, sitting back and saying " Aren't we great ".
So you are critisisng Wilcox and Pearce? Unbelievable!
-
We really need a target man I think..

If we sign Chapman, in addition to Armstrong, how exactly have we improved on last seasons league one team?
