You aren’t the chap who was complaining about the Hull tickets are you? ?
I’d happily stick with the squad that we have now, than going out and buying for the sake of it.
Not many will be happy at being lied to about a 'competitive budget', in order to sell season tickets. You choose to be fooled, that's your choice.

Mowbray OUT! ?
Are Venkys the stingiest billionaires in history?
We will see.. Of course I'm hoping for a happy ending.. But I don't trust Venkys at all.. It would be very disappointing if it turns out we can't trust TM either..

We get there and have brought in nobody, then TM remarks there was money to spend, but not 'the right deals'..
Then IMO he's complicit with Venkys, and loses a lot of respect.

Yes, don't like the "pack mentality" where posters try to drive another away. If you find a poster regularly annoying the ignore button saves you a lot of grief.
Personally I'm just trying to understand where JAL is coming from.. I'm not 100% there yet..!

Tony Mowbray should be asked about his inclusion of Nuttall and substitutions , plus his thoughts on their piss our performances.
Is that not fair enough to ask or know..
You think nuttalls inclusion is agent influenced?

The remarks about Lenihan.
I'm curious to are they suggesting selling him now to the prem or what is the structure to achieving prem status with Rovers especially after he goes and picks the likes of Nuttall who are incapable of doing anything.
So you do mean Tony Mowbray.

Evans and Smallwood really getting it. Don't you think you are being harsh? We were AWAY to Ipswich. It is normal for the home team to dominate possession in midfield.

Yeah!
Unfortunately we are saddled with a bunch of keaners that have excellent communication skills that can manipulate the situation and make you believe .
Do you put Tony Mowbray in the bracket of one of those keaners?
I noted your derision at his remarks about lenihan.

Absolutely no point in protesting again at this stage. We couldn’t muster more than a couple of hundred when Kean and co were running the club into the ground.
Not being backed in the transfer window is the least of our worries.
It’s now all about the long game. The only way Venkys will save face enough to sell, let alone fetch the kind of asking price the lions want, is if we are a PL team. Until then we are hostages. With a reasonable minority of Stockholm Syndrome affected fans shouting down any impatience.
Grin and bear it then I suppose.

Agents control players it's not just outs. Who pays most wins ! remember the Jack Walker days and loads and loads of money.
We won then yet Venkys came and told us they had loads of money.
Burnley didn't pay most last season, and beat many that paid far more.

After 8 years you still need a few more days?
Obviously I'd prefer it if we got local owners that were fit and proper, with some financial clout too(would be nice)..
Back in the real world, a Venkys that back us reasonably are our best option.. A Venkys that refuse to back us at all, then I believe protests should restart.. For all the good they do..!

What can you mean? Any other comment on these two players would mean he had a dose of ingrained denial.
I'm referring to his remarks in general on multiple threads.

Is it being alleged that agents are still a factor in the running of our club?

Venkys out!
I'll tell you after Thursday whether I join you in that sentiment.

Anyone in to to take the blond dummy from the pub Gladwin off our hands.
I challenge you to say something positive.

People said the same about Chelsea, under the management of bright up and coming Mourinho and backed by Abramovic's seemingly bottomless money pit, they looked like they could win everything for the next ten years. Didn't really happen. (I mean they won quite a bit, but so did others).
Chelsea had utd and fergie up against them, otherwise..
There's no one now.. Chelsea's appointment is a strange one.. Never won the league and hardly a young up and coming..
-
I think they are gonna dominate for a few years now. Liverpool may offer some sort of challenge, but the others? I can't see where the competition is coming from?

He can do it how he likes. He just needs to win football matches.
i'm reasonably confident we will achieve a midtable target.

What was all that about Lenihan being a prem player in future after weve failed against a struggling Ipswich team.
Struggling? They've only played one game..

But we didn’t. And no new signings able to start the game is a negative not a positive.
Here’s hoping!
I think TM plans to introduce the new signings gradually, and if they are successful, then by rights, we will only get better.

Hurst is a very good manager. His team ran out of steam last season but he had them playing well beyond their individual abilities.
Yet we nearly beat them on their own turf, without a new signing starting the game..
Maybe we'll be decent this season?

Another for Marquis here.. Seems ideal for us.. Not heard of any link though.

In some cases, Rovers fans have their pet hate players, and no matter what they perform like, they want them replacing. This was even true during our great days under Kenny in the 90s..
