  1. Dolans best game in a rovers shirt in a long time.
Tronstad on a free is surely the bargain of the decade? Moran & Markanday with a nice cameo.

I see the Nobbers haven’t helped us out…Again - But 5 points clear with a healthier GD is nice.

Still loads to do but really happy for Eustace!

If you think Tronstadt is the best CDM in the Championship “without a shadow of a doubt” like @BankEnd Rover then you are on something stronger than glue.

Hes been one of our better players, but he’s not hugely better than Travis. It’s. It his fault and he’s in our starting XI easily but he’s just, decent.

At least you’re appreciating that’s he’s been one of our better players…For me I would have him in any top 3 teams CDMs.

He’s just ok.  People talk like Tronstadt has come in and been a revelation but he just does a job in there, same as Travis did. This isn’t his fault, but listening to some people talk you’d think he was the Championship Roy Keane.

I don't rate him but fair enough.

Come off it lads - Him and Szmodics are by far the best players we’ve had this season.

“He’s just okay” “ I don’t rate him”…Tronstad gets into any teams CDM role in this league without a shadow of a doubt.

  4. That is the game we had to win. I don’t want to hear any excuses of our opponent we HAD to win!

Once again under Eustace we’ve failed. How can anyone, with our run in, think we will stay up?? No threat, no killer instinct…There are several players I would take from each team in n around us…I guarantee there is no other player another team would take from us other than Szmodics.

I put alot of the blame on our keepers who have gifted our opposition numerous points throughout the season…Pears and Wally lad are as good as league 2.

Nah Dolan is all hot air. Rarely hits a ball cleanly (passing, link up play or shots). Turns into trouble. Most things he does seem hopeful and fairly tamely executed. Lacks conviction and is a bit of liability on the ball for me. Sadly due to a lack of investment we still need him and he does put a shift in but I wouldn't touch him on a "big" contract.

I rate Hedges at this level. He has a presence, can move with the ball, make a bit of time for himself and strike it fairly cleanly. It's a shame he's been out so much.

Dolan I still think could fall off to a lower league one day. Suspect he will.

Agreed…only thing Dolan is effective with is his press - Everything else is poor.

Mental that Luton were “intersted” in him. He’d shine at a team like Derby or Bolton…Or us if we go down!!!!

Hedges is quicker, stronger and has a much better shot so hands down starts ahead of Dolan.

  6. It’s happening folks - put your savings on us going down because it’s more or less confirmed for me.

Where are the next points coming from? We’ve well and truely been battered at home to one of the worst teams in the league.

Lack of pace is a massive issue for me and I think one of the key factors to the lack of creativity.

Eustace looks out of his depth which is a shame…He seems like a decent bloke but working with kids and league 1 standard players is only going to end in one result.

We deserve everything we get! FOLD the club.

  7. Awful! Theres only one way we’re heading and that’s down…I’d be gutted if I was a Plymouth fan…The back line is absolutely terrible…Scott Whartons worst game in a rovers shirt and he’s had plenty.

If we somehow get 3 points from this then I’m 100% confident it’ll be the last of the season.

Finishing a must-win game passing the ball between THREE centre halves is enough.

Said it many times, but Gallagher on the pitch makes us far worse.

JE OUT is the only chance of survival this season.

No manager is getting anything out of these players I’m afraid.

  9. I fear that the teams around us have much more depth and better players than us.

Bar Szmodics we are so so so poor going forward. No pace, no directness…the quality in the final third today was miles off it…I would snap your hand off for a Poveda right now.

Andy Moran angers me more than ever. I’ll hold my hands up as I was probably the most vocal about bringing him in!

First goal, he’s so tight to their player who’s got his back to goal…No need and as a result it beats him and there’s no effort what so ever tho get the ball back.

The second is just amateurish and is something what happened under JDT ball -  I imagine Eustace was fuming.
In between these two errors in midfield he offered absolutely nothing, too lightweight and quite frankly this has been the story his whole season - He cannot start another match! AWFUL PLAYER.

  10. Brittain has been awful. But my word I’ve never wanted a player to leave more than Moran. He’s been nothing short of embarrassing every game bar 1 or 2 games this season.

He was at fault for the first, along with pears and the second is a shocker.

    Swanseas front line look good.

    I’m worried.

  11. He was unreal yesterday, if he was a foot taller and worked on his defensive duties then he would be a big talent.

His directness last night is something we've missed all season - Like others have said, he should be played more central or at least, if he's on the flanks, to come inside more.

Markanday and Dolan have their difference and with the latter being better at pressing and less lightweight....this is what starts him ahead of Markanday. Otherwise if you look at ball carrying and shooting DM is much much better - I'd say he's got the neatest touches in the team and clearly has a wand of a left foot.

Just seen the McFadz article in LT too

"We have to relish it, I can't wait. This is what football is all about, the magic times and the FA Cup. The league is the main thing but everything else is a bonus.

"They have everything to lose, not us, they're the big boys. It's a free game for us. We know it will be a tough game but if fans see we are willing to die for the shirt it will help"

Love this!! Looks like he may be playing then?

Jesus, when was the last time we heard a quote like that from one of our players...Surely we have to tie Fadz down for another year.
