The thing is most club fans pay absolutely no attention to their international side for months on end until the game is right there on the screen, so they just comment on what they see. So if it’s a load of ‘turgid, unimaginative’ shite (to coin a phrase) then that’s what they’ll remark. Then they forget about it until the next one.
It certainly isn’t a ‘negative brfcs’ phenomenon…
Spot on here,if the team plays shit are we supposed to say well they'll do better next time. It's not being negative it's being realistic.

Anybody who thinks we have a smidgen of a chance at the World cup playing Southgate's defensive football need waking up.I rarely watch England in non tournament football these days but thought i'd give it a go tonight, didn't even make it to half time before i switched channels, turgid stuff from Gareth's boys.

I turn channel 5 on at 10pm to watch The Enforcer only to discover its been replaced by a shitty Mel Gibson comedy, also channel 4 swapped a edgy late film for a stupid romcom, why does the Queen dying mean we aren't allowed to watch good films and have to put up with shite nobody wants to watch.

A day of 2 halves at the Roses match, after looking like a 1st inns score of 500+ was on it looks like Lancs will be lucky to get to 300

Just add that game to the very, very, very long list of games were we’ve lost after going behind. That needs to change asap.
ive never known a team where the first goal of the game matters more than it does to us,score first we dont lose,go behind first and we dont win

As fans we tell ourselves that this player is good and that our manager is good and it's purely a coping mechanism. In truth we have alot of shite. A new signing comes and we tell ourselves they are great, an academy graduate gets a game and we find any reason to praise because we desperate. Venkys made us desperate, we were attracting champions League winners, premier League winners, established internationals. We were an attractive club and had great squads in the not so distant past. Now we are bickering, myself included, over the Pickerings, Buckley's, Dolan's of the world. They are not good enough and they are not the only ones. Ewood is a revolving door of 6/10 players coming and going. No plan, no pride and no heart from the owners and board.
We need massive improvement and investment and we deserve it, just drifting around in midtable obscurity and worse for over a decade. It's so disheartening and deflating.
Got to agree, watching some of the mid table Premier league teams like Wolves or Southampton, they're never going to challenge for a title but after us being out of the top league for the last decade we are now light years behind even that dross in the league above.

JDT being schooled by an experienced manager, the jury is still out atm on if we have a good manager or not

We'll score in the 2nd half, the problem is they'll score at least 2 more unless we tighten up,there so much space between our midfield and defence for City to run into

Barkley is probably goig to end up at a Brentford or a Fulham or another lower end Premierleague team,he won't be wanting to drop into the Championship,he's only 28 not 35

I'd settle for a draw, just want to stop the run of defeats,if he's still here i can see BBD being left out of the squad due to pending transfer, get the transfer deadline out of the way then see what we have got to work with and kick on from there.

I was happy with the Hyam signing, until I read all the Coventry fans saying he was apparently forced to move because the club wanted the money. Hopefully being forced to move against his will (allegedly) doesn't impair his game.
Have to say, a 3 year deal with no mention of an option, and his expressionless mug on the signing photo, it's not filling me with confidence that he particularly wanted to be here. As I say, hopefully if true it ends up making no difference.
They're just saying that as they have delusions of grandeur and can't believe someone would want to leave them for us.

Now we seem to have the CB's covered,in an ideal world someone to challenge Pickering or better replace him, a battling CM and a forward that knows where the goal is before the end of the window please. That won't make everything perfect but i think it's going to take more than 1 transfer window to get us a team worthy of a sustained promotion push.

For the people saying he wasn't cheerful enough in his interview ,he looks happy enough here

Its going to be between haaland and kane
With the amount of chances City make i can see Haaland getting close to 40 league goals this season, unless Pep leaves him out to rest him a few times.

Most of us want him to start on Wed but with JDT we don't know what he'll do,i would have said Markanday deserved at least a place on the bench yesterday but was shoved off to the u21's

Steven Gerrard might see his old manager Brendan Rodgers at the job centre tomorrow.
Gerrard and Lampard are proving a great player do not automatically make a great manager, they could be going into the Keane slot of World class player/Non league manager

Well that was shite.BBD doing what he can with no help upfront,if we sell him this week we're in a relegation battle.
-
Everybody worried about the defence so i'm predicting we'll get a clean sheet today, one goal will be enough for the win.

Another terrible day for the youth teams,u21 lost 4-0 and u18's losing by the same score so far, lost every game so far this season.

It's this in a nutshell, something to do with being a football fan in a minority of people think it means you have to act like a Dickhead, look at other sports like Rugby and Cricket, fans of different countries mix without the need of a few to ruin things for everyone.
