There are worse squads on way better form than us right now. I bet QPR and Huddersfield have never found themselves through on goal as much as they have done against us in the last couple of games. That’s purely on the manager and will cost us our place in the league.
The championship isn’t the league to play in the way we are doing. Only Leeds have managed it and their budget was massive compared to ours.

I would go for Steve Cooper
Not even the merest chance he would even consider a chat over the phone about the job

Poor poor squad isn’t his fault. Awful ownership and general management of the club isn’t his fault. But the way we play on the pitch is. You play to suit the players you have. His head has gone, so he probably should too. For everyone’s sake. Those players aren’t playing for him.

Maybe they’ll just post a picture of Hedges holding up a shirt and say having him back is “like a new signing”. Like wrapping up one of your current possessions as a Christmas present.

Imagine if after all this, we sign McGuire and Brekalo, plus Elokobi on loan.
Imagine…
Pulling double duty while managing Maidstone?? That would be a turn up for the books

McFadzean also used to playing in a 3.
I'd imagine we're switching to a 3-5-2
Pears
Hyam - McFadzean - Scott/O'Riordan
Rankin-Costello - Tronstad
Dolan - Szmodics - Sigurdsson
Gallagher
A team thats hopefully good enough to get the 18+ points needed to not be relegated.
We struggle to win with 11 nevermind 9

The funny thing about football is that Adam Wharton is going for £22m and we're gutted that he's leaving on the "cheap" to Palace but if Palace came in for Szmodics and offered the same we would probably think it's a fair deal 😂
Age and potential a big factor in why there would be different feelings to be fair. I still feel like if Wharton had stayed till the summer we’d have got a good chunk more just through there being more teams able to bid for him.

Watching the highlights from Plymouths games last year...if our scouts thought Ennis was the better of Ennis/Whittaker last season that's madness....they got it wrong and now JDT wants him out after half a season...I think he's fuming... Surely JDT wanted Whittaker but got Ennis...
Fun Friday night

If Ennis goes you'd imagine we would have a plan in place and a striker lined up.
Oh wait we're Blackburn Rovers
Doesn’t take much replacing to be fair. I’ve scored as many league goals as him this season.

Could you start condensing all your random blurting into one long message rather than adding about 15 separate ones and making it seem something is happening. Cheers.

Looks grim if we've entered into negotiations.
I’m not sure the daily mail is any more reliable than Nixon to be honest. Probably feed each other the same drivel half the time.

Good luck to him but yet another signing that will make zero impact or difference to the problems we currently face.
The 'one for the future' column is busting at the seams, the here and now reality is as thin as rice paper and not even as strong.
Him and Wharton at cb in league one will be strong enough at least

Yeah, just reading more into it, sounds like he’s close to signing for Cardiff…o well.
If there’s any truth in it whatsoever at least it shows they know our goalkeeping department is weak

I still find it baffling that people believe that the O'Brien deal was ever going to be allowed to go through.
I don't care what Broughton or JDT say or what people have been told, take a step back and look at all the transfer business this club has conducted over the last 3 years.
From all the big wage earners being sold/released (Diaz, Dack, Ayala, soon to be Gallagher), to no new contracts to valuable players because they would cost too much (Lenihan, Rothwell), to Indian authorities blocking funding, to a policy of relying on the academy wherever and whenever possible, to not signing anyone outside of the age parameters and wage budget.
I'm not sure where signing O'Brien on a substantial deal fits among all that or indeed if it was a complete balls up by the people at Ewood why they haven't been sacked, or why the finances for that deal have vanished rather than been allowed back into the kitty.
I think it is safe to say that one needs filing under 'con job'. I don't doubt Broughton did the hard yards and got the deal lined up, I don't doubt the player himself was happy to come and play for a promotion chasing team under an ambitious manager, but as with the Lambert era what was printed on the packaging wasn't what was inside the tin and JDT and Broughton were made to look like fools by people higher up the 'chain'.
I get the Venkys suspicion in general but didn’t the club also fork out to take the case to appeal twice? Why on earth would they then bother blowing money on that if they were already so keen to save the money from the deal? They could have just not bothered…

I’d imagine it will be Brittain LB and JRC RB till one of those two is the next to get injured, again.
