Got to agree. Seems a good guy and has been a top player last season. Big shoes to fill. Hurts he’s going to a team who have been as rank average as we have been lately, would be better if he’d gone to a prem team or somewhere abroad. But guess that’s our level these days

Agree with Batth being a big loss. Wharton has never been our best CB though. Can have great games, but concentration, pace, distribution all big issues for him.

To be fair, he was pretty poor up until the last couple of months. Could flip it and say he only started hitting form when trying to impress suitors. Not to say he didn’t try earlier in the season, but the form was very well timed.
