If people think Tony is all of a sudden going to put faith in the youngsters then I fear we are going to be disappointed. Bennett, Smallwood, Samuel etc will probably be getting more game time if needed.

I really can't understand why we didn't even enquire about Maddison! Surely he is the type of player we need!!!

If we can get Smallwood, Samuel and Chapman sold/loaned out tomorrow I imagine there'll be a couple of incomings. Have a feeling there might be a really pleasant surprise for some people.

Now, in the last 2 hours, one other Championship-club has come in for the same player. The odd thing - its a bid and not for loan. Did not get specifics but was told that the bid was ridiculosy high. This is just bad negotioans-tactics. The deal could have been done and officially annunced yesterday if Mowbray was a bit more cynical.

But like ive been told (before Sharp wrote about it); Mowbray is very firm on promising game-time and thats not a positive thing when you want to loan a player. Thats been a "deal or no deal" several times the last two weeks but this time my guy said its 100% but the annuncement depends on when the agreement about the payments is done.

To note: My guy was right about Juan Castillo at Chelsea in the summer. That ended up in the "no-deal" because of games.
