No - but then I'm not criticising the club's representatives.
Do you have to be there to be critical ? It’s all written down word for word , there is videos of it , all sorts . You don’t have to be a super fan and go to have an opinion . Some of us have been to several of these , each time thinking it will be worth it but it’s just the same old .
Also just because you love something it doesn’t mean you have to accept everything it does and not want for better , you don’t need to blindly accept whatever is put in front of you .- 7

Congrats on being there. I suspect those who will be most vocal in criticism won't have been there for some reason.
Were you ?

In a world where a Susan Boyle can look like a Batman returns Michelle Pfeiffer in a couple of clicks I often wonder if anything is real any more.
That’s true . There’s just some thing a bit wind up about this .

Apologies it was Tony
“TM said he wanted to prevent Rovers having to play in an opposition's kit.”
Just as daft , in these days of squad numbers there is no way we would wear an opposition kit . There wouldn’t be a full squad of the home teams away kit ( match specifications ) the sponsors wouldn’t allow it etc . Is he daft or do they think we are daft ??
I agree with tombola re away fans but don’t make exceptions for Leeds and Preston -
Just now, Tom said:
Waggott ‘went to bat’ for the fans to ensure we didn’t have a season ticket price increase and stopped us having to wear an opposition kit by introducing a third kit!
He actually said this ? Why would we wear an oppositions kit ? That just doesn’t happen now

All chaddys pictures are coming from here if you’d prefer to read it at the source
Chaddy isn’t there ? What a strange thing to do . The answer are how I expected . It’s a bit easier to weave a story around what has happened after .
-
Sorry I phrased that badly . Yes in total . To put it another way are you happy with the transfer window based on what you were expecting / hoping for ?
-

But it wouldn't tho cos ST holders would just not renew if Prices were up..
Cant. keep expecting ST holders to paying more.
Match day prices should 20 pounds per game adults wise apart from Jack Walker upper stand(25) . A pound for under 11. 12-17 years 5 pounds, 18-24 years old 10 pounds. Over 65 10 pounds.
Would you pay 700 pounds for your season ticket ?

We have told why we didn't sign anyone. Most transfers were loans not permanent transfers. Rovers are right to not over pay if we decide the asking price is far too much.
Well what else to you want fans to do?.keep complaining every day about it on here like people do with Sam Gallagher!
I think when you are perennially let down / misled you have a right to air your opinion . I mean based on what we were being told you were expecting something like 7/8 signings .
expectations not met .
imagine if you had a heart condition and the surgeon said oh yes we will sort that out no problem and things will improve , then they come back to you and say oh we opened you up , it was complicated and expensive so we did nothing , if anything it’s more precarious but make do till summer . -

That's poor stuff Chaddy. Trump stuff.
Are you saying Mercer isn't a Rovers supporter unless he thinks like you?
Of course he is, we all are. No point being on here otherwise.
Sometimes it seems like Blindly defending the club to the end is seen as making you a super fan . However actually being objective and criticising something you love takes a lot more heart.
we can be critical about rovers , doesn’t mean we care less .
jist a game innit

You're gonna want to use a more successful example...
I was trying to illustrate that this punt has less financial risk than some others

Or we could continue to get our young players a chance in team?
We can do that . It’s not mutually exclusive , as I say I’m not championing him as such it’s a while since I saw him but those at the club surely have to think about all options . Sometimes you have to take a punt, someone took a much more expensive one on brererton for example rather than promoting our own youth

At what stage in his career do you remember him being good?
It is going back to when he was on loan at rangers and Bolton thinking he looked handy . City had high hopes if I remember but he’s lost his way . I’m not demanding we get him as such but I don’t think we are in a place to be too fussy to at least give players a thought

I suppose you could argue why not ??? I remember him Having something About him , however his wiki perhaps answers a few questions . That’s not to say he isn’t reformed

Oh, I know. It was a joke( which I couldn't resist) about the whole conversation, rather than a dig at you.
I guess there is a serious point though. So many of us are so pissed off with recent events, I guess we have slipped into the blame frame, where everything is Tony's fault.
Yes this is true , he just doesn’t help himself sometimes though .

Just now, Bigdoggsteel said:
Well I think Chapman is a separate issue. He has been injury prone throughout his short career. There seems to be more going on now alright, but we don't know the full story. I haven't heard a mention of any "niggle" this time.
Something recent mentioned about him being in a light cast / support ?
-
5 minutes ago, Leonard Venkhater said:
Does that mean they should have sent Dack and Evans to a psychiatrist instead of a surgeon lol?
Please see where I have elaborated , I’m not talking about those specific cases
-
You can’t avoid say a cruncher like what dack had but I think of maybe chapman you get the feeling he’s not in the mood for it and he can use a niggle as an excuse , if he was playing all games and on fire that niggle might not cross his mind . Just a thought that’s all
-
... what mercer said about us being mentally and physically unfit just to clarify
-
Just now, Bigdoggsteel said:
No, it clearly doesn't. It's a ludicrous suggestion to be honest.
I note you have changed the wording from "injuries" to "minor illnesses". Last time I checked Dack, Rothwell or Holtby don't have minor illnesses.
Well aren’t you confrontational You cheeky big dog . I changed illnesses with injuries purely to support the work place metaphor . I’m not solely talking about the 3 you mentioned , I was really commenting on what someone else had said about how we always seem to have had a lot of injuries, ive always felt we seem like a club where there is an easy skive
-
Just now, Bigdoggsteel said:
Is that a scientific fact?
I’m not sure if it’s been looked at scientifically , however in all walks of life if everything is rosy at work minor illnesses etc tend not to be an issue and this clearly applies in football .
