  1. Agreed. Think Dolan bulked up a bit too much and he’s lost some of his agility. I hope there’s a deal lined up for Gally to leave, it’s been long overdue.
  2. Couldn’t agree more with this. If I had to outline what I think happens next weekend, it’s exactly this and for these reasons.
  3. The problem is he doesn’t really know how to win a game with the players at his disposal - that’s literally why we’re in this position.
  4. Eustace with a 13.33% win record after 16 games in charge. Previous manager left us with 44.44% over 90 games. If we know anything about this club, it’s that they’ll remove even more resources next season and that win record likely gets even worse (whether we’re up or down). I don’t believe he’s the manager to do the necessary and he’s got himself sent off in the penultimate game of a relegation dogfight. He could feasibly not manage another game for us from the touchline, if he’s chopped after relegation. He’s been a bad appointment by an inept CEO, as a result of totally reckless administration by the board/executive team. He needs to go.
  5. Think he’s deserved more minutes than he’s got, he has consistently added something when brought on.
  6. Will not get this kind of opportunity next weekend, have to make it count.
  7. Hyam is an entirely different player with MacFadzean on the pitch
  8. Stuff like that doesn’t often seem to go our way, but it was the right decision.
  9. Off-topic: Jack Vale’s just been sent off for serious foul play. Didn’t know he had it in him.
  10. Weird one, I think the commentators are right, I don’t think managers/staff can come into contact like that with players. Crazy, he was just trying to get the ball back for a quick throw, but proper “rush of blood to the head” stuff for your head coach to do that. Poor reflection on him, shouldn’t give the ref a decision to make.
  11. If he intends to stick around, he appears unbothered by a season in League One on today’s showing.
  12. Total passenger. He’s gone in the summer and not a moment too soon
  13. Trying to move it forward too quickly, lot of wasted possession but most of us don’t look like we know what to do in the final third. Sammie potentially on a rare off day, as well. I feel like I’ve seen this one before.
  14. Restricted broadcast, but available on the countries listed here: https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2024/april/26/watch-sky-blues-showdown-live-on-roverstv-/
  15. Started about as well as you’d imagine from the lineup. 50/50 I throw up at some point from the nerves.
  16. And where the fuck is @CP Company Dresser today? I thought Leeds “are art” or something? Art? No, today was about Arte et Labore, something Leeds could have done with today, instead of the piss artistry their forwards were giving it today. Massive win. One more next Saturday and we’re home free, I reckon. Let’s make this count!
  17. I understand it from a player protection angle, but it massively hurts threadbare squads like ours
  18. The reporter genuinely tried to set him up for an apology and he just suggested that they “would learn from it.” The only thing I’d be happy for him to learn this evening is what a P45 from Blackburn Rovers looks like.
  19. The ARROGANCE of a man glaring at the reported like that, when he’s just served that up.
  20. Cant expect much from a man whose response to the first half was to leave a player having the worst performance of his short career with us, change shape to a back three and somehow concede even more than in the first half. Lacking imagination entirely. Can only get a result out of the players, after they’ve conspired to get a manager sacked, after an international break or with two weeks of prep. Not listened to this one, but I bet like Rovers TV, there’s not a hint of a direct apology.
  21. Hope the away end give them an absolute hammering. Credit to those who turned up to watch that, make sure you get your money’s worth.
  22. Hope he isn’t renewed again, doesn’t deserve a wage. edit: nevermind, I’ve just read I have to watch him until 2027
  23. The players deserve a relegation, some more than others and a vanishing few not at all. Unfortunately, we cannot afford a relegation. It remains a distinct possibility that we get one, but we can’t afford it.
