Before we even start of the corrupt useless bent Atwell if we had any kind of normal goal keeper we walk away from that with a point.

How many points have that pair directly cost us this season ?

Never known such a bad keeper dept in all mu time going it's just ridiculous it's like having Matt dickens and Darren collier as 1 and 2.  Both those lads proved decent lower level keeper and neither had the coaching and facililities this pair have grown up with.

It's easily 10+ points between the pair of them.

Rovers getting everything they deserve for shoddy transfer business.

Well, you’re much more optimistic than me. Pre match, I thought we might win today and thought we played quite well and were much the better of the two sides as Ipswich were very poor. Shithouse officials and shithouse tactics from Ipswich.

I do wonder when we will ever get an important late goal, it never seems to happen and as such, you have to question the mentality of the team. I’m praying we don’t but I think we are odds on to be relegated.

Doesn't help that we hang onto the ball for so long in stoppage time and still choose the backwards pass.

Szmodics is the only player that isn't scared of scoring.

This really evidences how utterly shite we have been at loans. The majority of successful clubs in this league has 2/3 really quality loan players on their first teams.

That will have still cost significant money to arrange. All a symptom of Venky's ownership.

If you think anything is amiss at Rovers, whether it be quality on the pitch or maintenance of the footpaths... it all circles back to out of touch owners.

  4. The McGuire transfer error is just absolutely astonishing the more you think about it.

The fact we had him in the shirt, revealed him as a Rovers player only to have not had it confirmed by the league, for a second time in 12 months and for no one to have been fired...

    It's absolutely insane.

We are talking unprecedented levels of incompetency.

I'm struggling with every match day to think that this really happened again and that we are seemingly expected to turn up and pretend it didn't. There is zero accountability at the level it matters most.

Good luck to the players in the final fixtures but off the field at this club it's an absolute disgrace.

  5. Good signing for the money IMO (Hedges). We paid a lot less for him than we did for Markanday and Hedges can influence a Championship game.

Although a poor signing when in 2nd. Most clubs in our circumstances at the time would have moved on to better targets to align with how the season was going, and try for promotion.

These conversations highlight just how badly we have gone about our business in recent years.

Hedges would have been a top player if he could ever maintain any form but it's always very up and down with him.

Mind you Dolan is the same and a lot of the others that's why they are where they are.

Nah Dolan is all hot air. Rarely hits a ball cleanly (passing, link up play or shots). Turns into trouble. Most things he does seem hopeful and fairly tamely executed. Lacks conviction and is a bit of liability on the ball for me. Sadly due to a lack of investment we still need him and he does put a shift in but I wouldn't touch him on a "big" contract.

I rate Hedges at this level. He has a presence, can move with the ball, make a bit of time for himself and strike it fairly cleanly. It's a shame he's been out so much.

Dolan I still think could fall off to a lower league one day. Suspect he will.

  7. No... people are happy to keep kidding themselves "They look after us" "We'll know more in August".

In the meantime those same people have no idea what it takes to run a business successfully.

Fan base of happy clappy clowns - and a club who's fortunes are forever either at the mercy of the Indian government or disconnected owners  🤡

A laughing stock in English football since 2010.

I would put flowers in goal Hendry, batty, shearer etc, to many rovers supporters are still living in 1995, there shite are the comments I read from time to time about the current squad. It's 2024 and we're a club in debt with problems.

If by "problems" you mean the owners this post is spot on.

  9. As for the Adam Wharton transfer. I'm going to call it the Adam Wharton Heist.

The entire transfer was a robbery. Inside job.

The ability to get that transfer done and not reinvest a penny mid season, heading into a relegation battle is something else.

This club doesn't deserve a penny of your money, and won't get a penny more of mine. Relegation from the Championship is what it deserves.

  10. I've never understood the standing ovations for a player getting red carded, I guess it's a fairly good representation of our fan base... heads in the sand, pretending we aren't being mismanaged and hoping for the best.

Operation "keep my job" (Waggott and co.) regardless of results and league status is almost complete. What a loser he is.

League One was signed, sealed and delivered today.

Didn't even get up from the couch when we scored 1-1. My girlfriend just looked mystified at me as this was a first. Felt we were gifted a goal and created nothing by ourselves. Say what you will about JDT but at least we created something over 90 mins that looked like football. This is just awful.

Is it weird that I can actually feel the doom and gloom around the club from Norway? There is just something....wrong...when I've seen us play lately. No plan just hoof. It's like the TV is radiating "we are going down".

My reaction was the same from inside the ground. Never felt like that about a Rovers goal before.

Already made the decision in January (after the transfer debacle) that I won't be renewing our season tickets next year regardless of what league we're in.

CEO isn't fit for purpose. I won't be giving a penny more till they are all gone.
