The McGuire revelation is it for me, on so many levels.
I've absolutely no interest in renewing my season ticket next year.
Won't be giving a penny more till Venky's are gone, so suspect that's me done with the club for a very very long time.

Intelligent man is JDT. I think you'd have to ban anyone at the club that's intelligent and driven from speaking to the media right now. Facebook lot would be fine.

There's cutting budgets for the right reasons and then there's cutting budgets because you have the wrong owners.

Ya know what’s mad - Travis got loaned out because Wharton was taking his place in the 6 role
Then we sold Wharton
And we didn’t bring anybody in to replace either
Classic Venkys
You can't make it up. Shambles of a club.

Rovers are a sorry state of affairs.

I'm devastated about this one and the state of the club.

HA! The exact type of contract we struggle with.
Still not having any of it. We are a shambles.

Not one permanent signing added yet to a squad that needs major reinforcement, and I doubt there will be any. We play a relegation rival tomorrow and still no experience added.
The club is behind 16 other Championship teams in terms of attractiveness to join; when we were the 2nd most attractive team in the league last year we barely did any business.
We are heading straight for League One without a fight. The owners should be forced to sell by the authorities, there is nothing fit and proper about this and absolutely no place for any football club in England to operate at the mercy of another country's judicial system.
I've done business with companies in India, bigger than Venky's and the level of bureaucracy is something else, I've seen simple decisions that can be made in hours take many months. I've seen them want something, have the resources and get nowhere.
This experience always made me wonder how the hell will Rovers operate successfully as a football club, a business where you often need big decisions made quickly to turn corners and function.
It's absolutely no surprise for me to hear that in the past we have even found it difficult to get transfer offers on our own players responded to.
No surprise that we sleepwalked into a Premier League relegation with a manager that was under qualified and sleepwalked our way through years of parachute payments.
We are still sleepwalking our way through poor attendances and missed revenue, with a town three quarters detached from a club they love.
All that aside, Venky's simply can't run a football club. I didn't need the tax issue to know that. It's a pet project and even if it wasn't it still wouldn't work.
They will never make Rovers successful, I guarantee it and if you think differently after all this time your head is in the sand.
Venky's have to go for Rovers to feel good again.
Going to go back to this from Jan 19th, it will be relevant every day they own the club.
This is an ownership issue and since this post they're about to receive £22,000,000.
£22 million that could have made a huge difference with other owners.
Sickens me.

The fans will be done with Waggott after today
Look forward to it 👍

This kid is gonna have a point to prove. We are a disgrace.

I'm taking a bit of satisfaction in the owner's proving us right.
They are feeding the protests and I feel this time they're running out of excuses and places to hide.
The day they leave, I'll celebrate like we've won the league.

I don't think you pull the plug on a signing when a deal "might" be off..... ?
Palace were always going to see Wharton through, c'mon. Rovers knew it.
You don't go running to Orlando to say "it's off" in the middle of a deal that can be rectified.
It's absolute nonsense from the club and we know how the day ends....

They are thick and missing the point. Don’t write the cheque if you can’t cash it. Literally in this case. Trust and credibility is everything.
If what we’re hearing is true, it’s an unforgivable way to run a business.
Where do Venky’s go from here. It certainly won’t be “up” in the world of football.

Fabrizio Romano I introduce to you Venky's, the worst owners in English football capable of damaging anyone's credibility, even yours.

The fans that pretend we don't need new owners are becoming a real problem for the club.
It's as simple as that.

McGuire and O'Brien feeling what the majority of sane Rovers fans have felt for years.
Our reputation as a club and as a business is at an all time low and the decline will continue until they are gone.
Perhaps this will wake the rest of the fan base up.

£22m with no time to spend it. It really is the perfect offer for Venky's.

This is also what Bellingham sold for.
Albeit that money hasn't help Birmingham much! Expect similar things here.

Wharton sold for more than it cost to buy the club. That's some left foot.

Keep dreaming lads, we see very little of this money.
Not something you can turn down though.

I think we can forget about him coming back on loan. This just doesn't feel like that kind of signing for them. He will feature.

Venky's sell the fucking club... not Adam Wharton!

I think links like this are just fantasising for me. We don't have the resources.
We'd all be better served focusing our thoughts and energy on how to rid the club of the owners.

You know your club is completely f*cked when your manager can essentially say whatever the hell he wants in an interview and still not get fired. I love JDT for sticking it to our incompetent owners and execs.
Things are happening at this club that do not happen anywhere else; they are happening repeatedly with good managers... and bad ones.
You'd think that alone would be enough for every fan to realise the owners need to go. No one can be measured properly until the club is ran properly, that starts at the very top and is influenced heavily by the CEO but even he isn't measured correctly - so you're f*cked before you've even started.
Unfathomably it still needs spelling out for a lot of people... Venky's are the root cause of the problems at Blackburn Rovers.
