Nyambe is nowhere near as bad that’s not what I was saying. But he still spends a significant amount of time on the sidelines because his hamstrings snap more than a rich tea biscuit.

Another way of looking at it is is Nyambe asking to be one of the highest paid even though he’s guarenteed to be injured for long periods of the season. We’ve already done that with Ayala and it’s shafting us.

If Nyambe was as good as he thinks he is and clearly a lot of you think he is he’d have much better options than Wigan Athletic. His agent has been in his ear, telling him he’s going to get all these offers and it’s not happened. He’s trying save face by moving to another club because if he came crawling back here he’d look a right clown.

Not saying that’s not true or it hasn’t happened, but given how close he is currently being kept to the first team I find it hard to believe.

I’d rather get 3/4 very good players for this level and use the kids than sign 6/7 average players. Think using the likes of Garrett, Phillips and Wharton will help us overall if I’m honest.

Bradley Dack can play Rothwell's role with a better range of passing and a better eye for goal. Had his first good season since he's been here and he thinks he's big time. Get him gone he's not more important than the club. Can't afford to keep him around the team and have him tainting the rest of the squad with this kind of attitude.

Well said this is a global issue in football atm. Covid has really tightened everyones pursestrings and players still want what they would've got pre covid. I think a few of them will be surprise what they're offered as free agents as it won't live up to expectations.

Once the contract is signed there's no going back. If you sign a deal like that you've put the decision in the clubs hands. like we have with breo diaz's one year extension. He doesn't have a say in the matter.

We really need to prioritise this summer. We need to trust that Cirino and Pike and the likes are sufficient cover so that we can at least try and add a bit of quality to the squad.
