  1. He got some unfair criticism towards the end of last season, some rovers supporters(if they attend matches) like to find a scapegoat. He had a very difficult task, when he was brought in towards the end of last season, keeping a misfiring Blackburn Rovers in the Championship. He did that, and now were seeing the team that John Eustace put together in the Summer, playing some fantastic football, that's beginning to put the smile back on the rovers supporters faces. Our main aim is to improve on last seasons dreadful run of results, but who knows the way Rovers are playing at the moment.
  2. My thoughts exactly, we were holding on at times, in that sloppy laid back half an hour, and if was'nt for 2 good saves from pears, they might have levelled, before Ohashi put it beyond doubt. There was also a fantastic tackle from Beck that kept them out.
  3. Let's hope he proves you and others wrong, he seems to be getting his confidence back, after a lot of stick and some school boy errors last season.
  4. Who cares, we've still got our 100% home record. No doubt about Yuki Ohashis 2 fantastic strikes, to putitbeyond doubt.
  5. No wonder Beck is already in the Wales squad, A future Liverpool first teamer.
  6. Your left with egg on your face, Pears pulled off a couple of good saves, to keep us in front earlier in the game.
  7. On his day, Tyrys Dolan is an handful for defenders.
  8. Another home win; another clean sheet; and a cracking goal from Yuki Ohashi, supporters sent home happy.
  9. We should fear no team at the moment, we have the fire power to score against teams.
  10. We have 3 right wingers in the rovers squad, but none on the left. Let's hope there adaptable.
  11. When i have dreams, and put money on Rovers, things usually go pear shaped. I have'nt bet on them so far this season, probably proves my point.
  12. He's lost his confidence a bit, with some schoolboy howlers towards the end of last season, and all the criticism aimed at him.
  13. Let's give it 200% Saturday against bristol city, and keep our 100% home record going.
  14. He deserves some criticism for his dip in form, but some of it is over the top. I have seen him pull off some fantastic saves in past matches and he was part of the squad that finished 7th.. my biggest criticism of him in the past was he never seemed to kick the ball up field to clear danger, he would have you biting your fingernails dribbling the ball inside the box and tapping it to a defender a yard away from him.
  15. Why not sit in the burnley end, if you've no faith in your own team. Roses are red! violets are blue! burnley 0 rovers 2.
  16. Could be a blessing in disguise, concentrate on improvement in the Championship this season with less games to play.
  17. I was'nt that interested in last nights result, neither were a lot that were there in the Blackburn end. I agree 100% with John Eustace, the cups are not our top priority, improving on our disasterous league position last season is, and then building the foundations for success.
  18. No doubt your still wearing your Alan Shearer shirt from 30 years ago, those days are long gone, and were a club in debt with a flimsy squad these days. Join the real world, those days have long gone.
  19. Yet you were all full of praise for JRC, when he got Rovers back in the game against Oxford on Saturday. Two faced values.
  20. Two defensive errors lost it for Rovers last night, the first a slip from Hyam allowed Blackpool to level. The second was Rovers from last season, 3 defenders backed off and stood about like statues while Blackpool waltzed into the box and took the lead. We can't be to harsh, the conditions were attrocious last night for 90 minutes and we made 7 changes.Another thing the referee got 1 out of 10 from me, he made some terrible decisions. A plus was Gestede on the scoresheet again, do is confidence a world of good.
  21. Last season was depressing, you did'nt know were the goals were coming from if Sammie Szchmodics had an off day. I am beginning to look forward to games from what i've seen at Ewood so far this season. We actually fight back if we go behind and have a strikeforce that can find the net. Early days but a lot more promising.
  22. Not sure, i am hoping to be there tomorrow night.
  23. I agree with John Eustace, cup ties are not our top priority this season. We did well in both cups last season and look what happened, players were burnt out in the last couple of months of the season, and we almost paid the price with relegation. I am not saying let other teams win, but realisticly can you see us getting past the likes of Man City; Man United; Liverpool etc. We have a flimsy squad and we don't want to many injuries.
  24. Or play John Buckley and a few others, the same player that scored goal of the season and goal of the month against Birmingham and Preston in the not to distant past.
