  1. Whats happened to BBD, hes going through a bit of a goal drought. When Ben fires blanks were there for the taking. The ideal result would be Rovers 3-0 bbd, gallagher, dolan.
  2. We need strength in depth, like the venkys coming up with a January transfer kitty and offloading deadwood Hirst and Markannday.
  3. Rovers need to stay calm and not panic, we have lost to Forest in the league cup and an injury time winner in the Championship to Sunderland.Lets put it right against Boro and Cardiff at home and get some pride back at Ewood. By the way i have had a wonderful Christmas in bed with laryngitis lost my voice for days, hopefully i will be back in full voice at Ewood Thursday cheering Rovers to a 3-0 win.
  4. Let's hope its silky passing Rovers that turn up.
  5. On our day we are good enough to beat any team in the Championship, on the other hand if its not our day we can be very ordinary. Lets hope its our day Boxing day, im going 0-2 Rovers.
  6. It was great to see Scott Wharton on the scoresheet, it seemed like a few looking at the empty Riverside. Thats the 2nd home defeat in a row, lets make it Fortress Ewood against Boro on the 29th and get back to winning ways at home. Merry Christmas to all Rovers supporters.
  7. After being one of the few that turned up Wednesday night against Robin Hood and his gay men, lets hope we get the supporters back for the trip to Sunderland. Our 2nd 11 gave them a run for their money for an hour, if we played our 1st team we would have breezed past them, i didn't rate them as premier class.
  8. After the Preston disaster, let's turn it into Fortress Ewood again and give it 100% winning our home games.
  9. Buckleys on the transfer list then, only joking.
  10. Fair point, but i would hang on to Buckley he's home grown and still young. My prediction im dreaming of a 2-0 win to Rovers.
  11. Let's hope we don't give the ball away so cheaply, like we did against Norwich or we will pay the price against Forest. My prediction 2-0 to Rovers.
  12. Lets hope JDT sees sense and hangs on to Dack and Buckley, they are part of Blacburn Rovers.Rumour has it Mowbray is after both of them. This team has potential, JDT is chopping and changing in his first season as manager, looking for his best team.
  13. We still haven't learnt how to put games to sleep, there were some nervous moments in the 2nd half, giving the ball away far to cheaply and silly fouls in dangerous positions, until Dolan put it beyond doubt. I dont know why Dolans been sitting on the bench, given 90 minutes he's capable of winning matches. Dolan and Buckley made a big difference for me and should start against Forest in the League cup tie. Well done Rovers.
  14. Lets not repeat last season, flying high then free fall Christmas onwards. The long suffering supporters deserve better.
  15. A loss wouldn't be a complete disaster, we would still be 2pts clear of 7th place, but its a win we need after the dismal performance at Burnley. Its good to see Hirst on the score sheet against Hearts, might get him in the mood for the Championship.
  16. The BBC Blackburn area forcasts snow, but i'm dreaming of Rovers in the top 2 Christmas.
  17. Snow forecast for East Lancs Thursday and Friday, whats the chance of posponed. I remember freezing my balls off last season waiting 2 hours for the Rovers v Millwall game to get under way, only to be cancelled at the last minute. Looking forward to the Preston game, hopefully it will be on.
  18. And freezing before bedtime because the gas on your meter has run out again. Up the Rovers.
  19. Ye of little faith, England in the quarter finals and Rovers beating Ajax and Hearts. Lets hope Rovers continue it against Preston on Saturday.
  20. Fantastic result for Rovers, beating Ajax 2-0 in the warm up friendly and Dolan nearly scoring a hat trick. For me he has to start against Preston next Saturday. Well done JDT choosing top opposition and giving Markanday and others a chance.
  21. Brazil, Spain, Germany and Portugal have all fallen to the underdog, lets hope England don't take Senegal to lightly, who will be classed as the underdog. Doesn't seem like the World Cup to me in Winter, maybe it's being outshone with Christmas.
  22. JDTs getting it right on the friendlies front, test yourself to the max with top opposition.
  23. I have just got the sangrai in seeing Rovers are in Spain next week. Don't forget the Germans once lost to minnows in the past and went on to lift the World Cup.
  24. People are complaining about the 0-0 draw with the USA, there msl league has been going for years, I would'nt class them as underdogs. Unless Wales beat England 5 or 6-0, we will be in the knockout stages. And dont forget there playing in 94 plus farenheit.
  25. Lets give it 100% against the USA Friday, they gave Wales a scare or two.
