  1. How many refereeing decisions have gone against Rovers in the past with not to much complaining, football has a habit of evening itself out over a season.
  2. I would take Adam Armstrong back with open arms anyday.
  3. They were a decent side Sunderland, like you said some refereeing decisions went our way, its usually the other way round on most occasions. Wouldn't be surprised to see Sunderland in the top 6 at the end of the season. Roberts is some player, hopefully Rovers will be in the top 6 with them.
  4. Tony Mowbray lost the plot the last 3rd of last Season. What a replacement JDT is turning out to be. With the team we've got we should be putting in a serious challenge for a top 6 finish. Dare we dare to dream of automatic after last Season. Hang your heads in shame those who gave JDT some stick first month of the Season.
  5. Great to see Harvey Elliot back at Ewood last night. Pity he will be returning to Anfield.
  6. Last night was a 6 pointer in breaking the wlwl sequence, rovers won it in style with a solid display in defence. Great performance from BBD and Scott Wharton on target to round things off. This teams beginning to gel and play like a team. We could see a bigger crowd Saturday. Lets enjoy the moment while it lasts, Rovers top of the league.
  7. Lets not take Sunderland to lightly tonight, they've beaten Reading and Wigan, something Rovers failed to do and drawn with Watford away. Hopefully a Rovers win, but we need to give it 120% tonight.
  8. I would give BBD the Captains armband for Tomorrows game, with Travis suspended. He gets yellow carded far to often for my liking. A Captains supposed to show discipline and motivate the team when their heads are down.
  9. He might get something else from the crowd if Rovers lose.
  10. I think Hirst is just missing his first goal for Rovers, it took Hedges time to chalk up is 1st goal, and he's turned into a decent player.
  11. It's down to Tony Mowbrays era, we have talented youngsters from the academy now playing in the 1st team. I say a round of applause for Tony, but concentrate on Rovers taking the points afterwards.
  12. Tony Mowbray will get applause from me, then it's game on. A perfect opportunity for Rovers to cement their place in the top 6, with 2 home games. I am going 3-0 to Rovers.
  13. On the other hand not many teams have lost as many as Rovers, great result today breaking our hoodoo away from home. Lets hope we don't slip up at home after this result. We need to go on an unbeaten run like Burnley to get right in the mix for promotion contenders. I will be there Tuesday as usual come on the Rovers.
  14. Morton and Szmodic, 2 of Rovers best players at the moment. Sunderland won 2-1, sets it up nicely Tuesday for Tony Mowbrays return to Ewood.
  15. It wasn't Rovers at fault, their keeper made some fantastic saves to keep it at 0-2. What a World class save from Kaminski to keep it at 1-2. At last Rovers have broke their away hoodoo.
  16. Something for the travelling Rovers supporters to cheer about at last on the road. Why didn't we play big Sam against Wigan, contender for goal of the month his second.
  17. At the moment Blackburn Rovers are generous at giving struggling teams 3pts on the road. It's a total transformation away from home, giving the ball away, going a goal down and excepting defeat. At home we've played some fantastic football at times. JDT should make the team sit through a video of the defeats on the road 2 or 3 times over. Not good enough for the loyal away supporers who turn up.
  18. Somebody asked if there are any decent chippies anymore. There used to be one on every corner when I was a kid.
  19. I can't see were our next away points are coming from at the moment, we go behind heads down and accept defeat. A totally different story at home plenty of attacking spirit. We can't depend on our home form till the end of the season, not many teams win all their home games. Come on Rovers wake up away from home.
  20. With the squad we have i reckon 4-4-2 suits us. It worked well against Rotherham.
  21. Let's not take Tony Mowbrays name in vain, it might come back to haunt us. There are next home fixture.
  22. BBD being interviewed said, I am happy to be here giving it my whole for Blackburn Rovers. Can only be good news for Rovers supporters.
  23. We have some really good talent at the moment. We just need to take our home form away with us.
  24. Don't forget JDT was in charge of a Swedish club, he's never been in the dug out in England before. The person who came up with the comment would probably be a silly bugger sitting in the dug out in Sweden, unless he speaks fluent Swedish.
