Sit by the away dugout and can’t say I saw that. Anyone else witness this?

I remember when he got man of the match against forest in the cup when we lost 4-1. Not much he can do when we let Connolly through twice. Not on him I’m afraid. Big fan of Hyam but he was getting turned time and time again by Delap at the start of second half. Defenders shouldn’t be letting that run through

Ennis - subs appearance to get him up to speed (not fit for 90) Tronstad - 60-70 mins first game to get him up to speed at this level. Brought off for a.Wharton as needed to get a foot on the game. That’s called easing players in? Can’t bring a keeper on for the last 20 mins can you so I’d say more so with keepers they need to prove they’re ready before starting. That’s all I’m saying and why I don’t think it happens today when he’s only been training 10 days with the club. I personally would love to see him start and see him play, new players are exciting for Dana but I just don’t see it like I said. Also Pears was saying in the brockhall keeper video how he’s worked hard for no.1 shirt and needs to work harder to keep it. That suggests to me he sees himself as no.1 right now also. My interpretation is he’s a little more in the know than we are

Money should have been used elsewhere? So we leave Pears with no experienced back up?
-
I get what you’re saying but you don’t give Pears a big new deal if he’s gonna be sat on the bench either? We sell Kaminski and brought a replacement in. Kaminski was kept out of the team after coming back from injury so I don’t think JDT rates Pears like all of you do. Not saying leopold shouldn’t get his chance and isn’t a better keeper. I’m just saying I don’t think you bring him straight in when he’s not played this level. I feel he’s got to earn his place. If JDT sees fit he starts then I am more than happy with that. I just don’t see it personally. If I’m wrong then I am wrong and have no problem holding my hands up later. I want what’s best for the team.

Friedel had played at the same level. Was at Liverpool before coming to us. I get the new keeper might get you all excited but I just think he needs to be eased in slowly. He isn’t proven at this level is he? Besides a few videos from the Nordic league has anyone seen him play at this level? Im not saying he’s not good, I just don’t think it’s right to throw him straight in.

I’m sorry but you don’t just drop Pears for no reason like that. You’ve got to at least give Wahlstedt a couple of cup games to see how he is first. Can’t imagine JDT will take that risk when Pears hasn’t done anything wrong.

JDT is never gonna drop Pears when he kept Kaminski out end of last season and hasn’t made a mistake so far this season. He can’t just drop Pears for no reason

Good grief what an exciting last half hour that was! Hedges made a huge difference and must be said JRC was superb in midfield. Ennis looked decent. Would have taken 2-2 before we scored first goal but should have won. Must say that’s as poor a red card as I’ve seen since Bucko sent off for throwing the ball against Boro. Well done Szmodics after a stinker first half. Shows the resilience and mindset he has to come out and play like that second half. For once you’d say that our bench looks strong and has changes the game -

I think he was knocked off his game after that clash with Asanti. When I saw him come off at half time (sit very close to dugout) he looked pretty dazed to be honest. Don’t think he was himself after that incident. -

Very good today. Really happy to be back. started slow but got going with two quick goals. Very well taken both were. Been wanting Leonard so get a start since I saw him away at Huddersfield last year. Playing again two of the biggest centre halves in the league, kept them on their toes, puts himself about and his movement is class. Tronstad grew into the game in the first half, played some nice balls through the lines in tight spaces. Everyone else was great, we did really well when we made the subs after WBA scored, controlled the game. Leonard also making runs still in 90th+ minute. Good performance and good game Also Pickering had a very good game for me. -

Also while Rovers game was on main event, why aren’t we seeing the post match reaction to our game? If I wanted to watch Sunderland crap I’d be on that channel -

Think we need to see JRC next to A.Wharton in midfield next season no matter what now. -

As annoyed as I am we haven’t made play offs….. for those calling is bottlers, look at ghat second half display from Millwall. They’ve just shown us an absolute A1 master class in bottling it -

For everyone saying it didn’t matter…. They players surely didn’t know Sunderland score while they’re playing? At half time wasn’t it 0-0? Heartbreaking we’ve missed out on goal difference -
