But doesn't using these new funds to cover running costs then free up the funds that would have been used on running costs to be used elsewhere, such as transfers?

Drameh played quite a few games at left back for Hull too so would be good cover for both sides. But seems all too likely that he'd be a Brittain replacement than cover

Markanday shouldn't have a problem finding a club in league 1/2. Did well at Chesterfield and not breaking into a team fighting for promotion in league 1 doesn't necessarily mean he can't cut it at that level. Surprised we didn't try getting £100k or so for him.
