  1. Noticed they're already practicing the excuses...
  2. But the installments arrive just as the meter is down to £0.01 ... 🤣
  3. Genuinely thought he'd gone again, not sure why I had that in the auld head! Bumbled that one... Cheers haha
  4. Isn't Joe Hilton on loan at Macclesfield?
  5. I was interesting in figuring out our registered squad list following on from a few posts on here and wondering how many spaces we have left, ignoring all of those under 21 (apart from ACD as he is in on loan) we currently have 23 players registered? So on the basis of this, we have 2 registration places available unless in the absence of doing this on my lunch break (like an absolute sad act) I have missed something? So, if we are to sign more than 2; we need someone to leave / go out on loan from the above list OR they need to be U21. Most of the players we have been linked to have been over 21 other than Jayden Danns, but can't see him being a permanent addition...
  6. Ready for the new FLW post stating that talks are progressing because I made a tongue in cheek post on here...
  7. Let's wait and see but the "ITK-ers" seem to love throwing crap around about us... The Plymouth fan literally states: - "A Blackburn fan has tweeted that his mate, who works at the Rovers training facility, has seen Cissoko today at the facility." My dad has a cousin who has just moved into Brockhall Village and he told him that his new neighbour's brother's wife is a cleaner at The Avenue Hotel; she has just seen Luis Suárez having an early lunch with a couple of the Blackburn representatives. (Throwing humour at an FLW early window link 🤣).
  8. Yeah, it really does... Especially when we've supposedly been chasing him for a while, if he does well at Luton then a bigger team will come in for him and be way out of our budget range, our loss is their gain and potential further financial return, sigh... Likely a missed opportunity, unless it turns out his level is League 1 (which is what I will now be hoping for 🤣). Rovers clearly like to act on a whim though, let's sign this unproven player from the Italian Serie B because of the YouTube reel some dosser has posted... Rather than this young up and coming lad already plying his trade in English Football and terrorising the league below us.

  10. Just been looking at the Cov forums following what a previous poster advised, they seem adamant that we've gone back for BTA for a similar fee that they paid for him 🤔
  11. MGP left his Brylcreem the last time he came to visit.
  12. Selling Pears at this stage in the season after how he has performed this season (regardless of the last match) would be absolutely ridiculous, anyone who says otherwise clearly doesn't watch many of the games irrespective of what is claimed. Had this been last season, my opinion would have been different. We haven't seen enough of this Töth fella to lose our number one. I call bullshit on the rumours however, if it is true... Dont expect a replacement... 🤣
  13. So, 7 day's remaining of the window... Other than this Kargbo fella and the daft relink to O'brien, has anyone seen anything relatively believable? Not that I am expecting anything, whatsoever...
  14. Rovers have made a surprise offer to bring Tim Flowers out of retirement following the offer they received for current No.1 Aynsley Pears!
  15. Indeed mate, fair comments. But those without the experience of pre-Venkys can surely look at the state of the club and realise that things aren't right... Maybe... 🤣 A few of the posters do seem of an age to know what it was prior to them having ownership of the club, it just seems we have a serious naivety within the fan base, it's delusional.
  16. Saw a few posts on Facebook yesterday from fans still stating the old "if we didn't have Venkys where else would we be" rubbish... Our fan base is honestly one of the most infuriating group of people you could come across... How and why are morons still using that line?
  17. Without sounding like I am targeting the demographic of a society, having worked professionally with individuals such as the nationality of the Venkys... There are a number of individuals I have come across that are extremely naïve, narcissistic and even extremely self absorbed. I firmly believe it is an ego thing alongside perhaps something of a more criminal aspect such as laundering.
  18. I don't take positives from it either to be honest that was simply said in jest, it's very much smoke and mirrors.
  19. I received a very similar email yesterday hence the post I put on here earlier today about the narrative surrounding initially wanting to improve the attacking and referencing injuries. I had replied hoping for a further response but haven't received one yet. At least some communication has been released to the fans, a positive to take at the very (very) least.
  20. I get where you're coming from, but I trust Trav a lot more in doing that as I'm sure many others do. Bit of a joke with people getting on Eustace's back though, got to say... He was doing brilliantly until the injuries started.
  21. Thank fuck Trav is back... Missed him the entire time he's been gone... At least we have one back out of him and Sonny.
  22. The narrative seems to be that they want to keep the togetherness of the squad and initial focus was on improving our attacking line. There is a constant mention of injuries, they are wanting to bring in cover but the quality of the cover with the likes of Forshaw being signed is questionable and signings of his calibre so far aren't the answer to keeping us in the position we are in. The medical table stats you can find online are detailing those injured aren't going to start coming back until at least late Feb, there are 7 fixtures (including Wolves) between now and the 1st of March. Unless they can pull a rabbit out of the hat, I think we're in for a torrid finish to Jan and Feb, on the basis of our Jan Window record, I'm starting to become resigned to us suffering the regular Jan slump.
  23. 13 days of the window left with it apparently closing on the 3rd of Feb... 13 days to get some deals done and we're hearing that one bid has been put in and had various links from the likes of Nixon...
  24. Aasgaard is a no brainer for me, I find it unusual that there isn't more interest in him especially from the Championship.
