  1. Just to add to winger situation and it could be complete waffle. Been a lot of talk across different platforms of a winger being shown around training facilities last week. Deal was put on hold because all efforts were focused on Miller deal. Winger should be done before West Brom game but no names were mentioned. And Baradgi is being watched by Rovers when he plays today
  2. Noticed this in the game yesterday. Both Hedges and De Neve were deep infield. Was a risky move as our fullbacks were exposed and we got outplayed and couldn’t compete whole of first half. Rw is definitely needed as we have spent many years being easily worked out.Opposition didn’t need to do homework as we were so predictable. Signing the right players for a system I’m all for it. But not signing another RW would disrupt us from switching things up. We need someone not to just challenge hedges but to ideally replace him
  3. Things have settled since surgery thankfully. Just reading fans comments on the situation and some are really uneducated remarks. Some players have had good careers out of football whilst having this condition. But over the years many players have retired or didn’t reach top level football. If the fee is right then I would say take the risk as he’s highly thought of in Sweden. But we need to factor in that top level teams may be put off with the condition and any potential sell on could be effected.
  4. Crohns is a nasty illness that progresses over time. But it affects everyone differently. Energy levels, arthritis in joints, flair ups, There’s no cure and the medication is hit n miss. Flair ups can hit you at any given time with no warning and they are very bad, could even hospitalise you for short amounts of time and morphine is needed to stop the pain. This deal is a gamble, and no medical can tell you if it’s going good or bad. Put it this way 16 months ago I was told my crohns were fine with no issues, 3 months later I’m having emergency surgery fighting for my life with a perforated intestine
  5. Wouldn’t be allowed to train without ESC slot. Unless plan is for him to recover after surgery and get fit away from the club. But can’t see that happening. Better just to pay mofoumbi off
  6. At first I thought we should keep away from this deal. Now if he signs I really hope he kicks on. As a crohns sufferer for years I know first hand how hard it must be to be a top athlete whilst fighting the illness. Must be a very strong minded lad who looks after himself very well
  7. https://www.transferfeed.com/transfers/axel-henriksson-gais-blackburn-rovers/13291966
  8. We Are linked via x feed to a Axel Henriksson
  9. Good opposition this Dutch side and we have struggled to compete for large parts of the game. Kristi despite being out of position got a good pasting out there today. Ribeiro struggling down that side the whole of first half without any protection from De Neve.Travis and Tronstad completely outplayed in the middle and not competing. Second half Kargbo direct and causing many problems and deserved his goal. Not many performances to be positive about really. We really need to get more quality bodies in, our outlet last season was all down the right channel and it was non existent in today’s game. There need to be work done on the forward line as we are struggling to create anything.
  10. The guy who posted the link stated no offers are made at this moment in time. Said they are meeting over this weekend to discuss. Maybe he’s on a list of targets they have to go through.
  11. Not sure if already said but the guy who has stated about Gueye bid is the same guy who called his move to us last year and also called the De Neve transfer. Very reliable
  12. Paying way over the top to try build a squad with championship experience. Same as any promotion you have to spend to try compete with teams that already have that amongst their ranks. Hardest part for them is sides know they have money and every player linked goes up a fair bit in price. Don’t get me wrong they are some good players that have signed, but are they better than what we already have
  13. Struggling to find a Twitter post about the Netherlands friendly you said was posted days before my post?
  14. Agree. De Neve/kargbo, Cantwell, Tyjon, Hedges/ New signing are unknown qualities and players who don’t contribute enough in terms of Goals and assists. Relying on Gueye and Ohashi to both bag a hat full. This RW signing has to be spot on and someone with the quality to add goals/assists to the team. Definitely need another CAM/striker. looking at the bench is even worse, Lost Weimann who was our go to guy to try win games late on. There’s nothing else left on there really who has the experience to contribute
  15. Can see what type of players VI is targeting. Big athletic players that can carry the ball and cover the ground. Fingers crossed they can hit the ground running. If we can get Baradgi over the line and add a decent Rw we should have enough to survive next season. But this also depends on no more key outgoings. Another striker is needed and would love to go back for Muhammad from Nantes
  16. Would have preferred to play Everton at a later date. Still a good competitive game but could of been tougher game a week or two later
  17. I was told they weren’t in today as they fly out tomorrow
  18. Try this https://www.removepaywall.com/search?url=<URL> then paste page url in to it and it’s should remove paywall
  19. Another free agent is Liam Cooper. With Wharton/carter prone to injuries I would be looking at a deal for him. Experienced, and an ideal Batth replacement
  20. That was the story a week or so ago. More he plays the more the selling club gets. Wouldn’t be the players wages. Wouldn’t benefit Rovers as he won’t be on much.
  21. It doesn’t matter what the reporters are saying. Doesn’t matter what Ismael is saying. It’s another cry out like his predecessors before him that falls on death ears above him. Been a long time since the club has produced what the manager wants in the market overall. The reason why a few have walked before him.
  22. Seen a few posts on social media that the story by Nixon on player with dodgy injury is Pears. Hair transplant gone wrong.
  23. God knows what I read then. Thanks for the info
  24. Definitely has to be under 21. Doesn’t matter if it’s a loan or academy product. So we could loan players u21 and still have them in the 25 man squad if we have reached that limit
  25. Positive the Samir transfer netted us a few hundred k
