  1. Seen a picture in another group of what looks like Brittain heading home early from Spain. Rumours of Rudy left similar time as well. Is he on the move or is he extending his contract. I know some players travel back separately after games but after a tour I’m not so sure
  2. Not sure if it’s been payed up yet but could add Finneran compo and Talalovic sell on clause to funds brought in
  3. Burning off that lazy tag with recent performances. In Great shape and looks more hungry to do well. Need to get him more of the ball. He has the quality to unlock teams, just find he doesn’t have that natural 10 awareness to be in those dangerous positions. In the holes, breaking the lines, Be doesn’t find them frequent enough
  4. What’s everyone’s thoughts on Toth? Personally I think he’s proven himself as the no1. Claimed some good balls in to the box against Everton and Qatar to relieve pressure on defence. Looks calm on the ball and his distribution actually stays on the pitch. If I were pears I’d be looking for a move
  5. He was known for making mass changes at a certain time in games. Can clearly see what he’s trying to accomplish. Hopefully results come from it.
  6. Going off this pre season so far it looks like we have a good blend of players in majority of the positions. The replacement offers something different to the other. De Neve offers more protection and kargbo can damage teams with his direct play. Another CM to compete with the Trav and Tronstad is needed. Then someone similar to kargbo on the right. Top it off with a utility forward and another CB and I think we will do alright
  7. Be interesting to know how many times we won the ball back from the press. They played through it at first but as the game went on players just seemed to click and were spot on
  8. Mathews is raw. Would he benefit from a loan or develop in u21s next season. Gets in good positions but his passing detail is way off
  9. Perfect blend of strikers to switch it up against different systems
  10. Winning this ball back much better. The press is working. They passed through it first 20 minutes but as the game has gone on we are recovering the ball impressively
  11. Really liking the press. De Neve really Athletic and covers the ground well,Same with Hedges. ref not allowing any physicality in the game at all. Looking forward to seeing Tyjon, if he can find the holes and play against these then I feel he is more than ready
  12. I wouldn’t give him 20k a week. Despite his great attitude and work ethic he wasn’t one of our consistent performers. Many reasons we are unaware of behind the scenes that he felt his career was somewhere else. Will he be a miss, no doubt, offered that utility across the front line. But can be replaced
  13. Talked about this the other day. Dolan to Espanyol. What better way to Potentially transfer funds from Burnley to Espanyol for Dolan. Lad come out publicly after Eustace left, knew exactly the reason and clearly upset with the situation. This is a big finger up to the club, Rudy and co
  14. Agreed. Needs game time but also too much exposure might not work in his favour. Cantwell gets injured a lot of responsibility will land on his head. If we can sign a Rw who can operate anywhere across the front line would definitely damp any burden on the squad
  15. Was in awe at his Everton cameo. Ghosted the whole midfield on the half turn. Experienced pros and he made it look effortless. Different opposition tonight. Technically not as good but we’re in your face and physical. Tyjon stood out again. He’s ready, patience is needed at times until he finds his game in the championship. But proved he’s ready for that chance
  16. Tyjon reminds me so much of Dack. The positions he picks the ball up, the half turn to drive forward. Finds those holes better than Cantwell. Topped it off with a great run in the box to finish a move similar to Dacky. Lad is a serious talent and on last two outings he looks hungry and could well be the replacement for our 10. If your good enough your old enough. For his age the lad looks like he has game intelligence
  17. Doesn’t need to rush in to things. He Thinks he’s a lower premier league player. Can see him waiting out until transfer window’s closed. In the hope that one comes calling after not getting top targets
  18. Talks that the player really wants the move, Rovers have gone back with a lower offer to club which they Rejected.player could force the move but will be hard because he’s injured anyway. Shame really as he looks a player. One to keep an eye on in January maybe, Or Rovers pay the fee
  19. Nixon has said the players wages might not be factored in to this deal. The difference is the overall fee for the player. Rovers want to pay x amount then different instalments once player hits different milestones.
  20. Need to forget about Baradgi. Elliot reported that what fans have been saying over social media is what the likely Injury is. Stress fracture is an injury you can’t put a time frame on due to how delicate the process is and could need resetting multiple times. I think we will revisit that deal in January unless they accept lowball offer to originally agreed
  21. Cantwell looked in very good shape yesterday. Worked hard, and it was his burst in to the box that enabled De Neve tap in. Didn’t see that sort of sprint from him last season, I think he’s going to be a key player this year. Needs to be more selfish with pop shots, But a fitter, sharper Cantwell could easily add this to his game. Still needs a back up for him as he won’t be able to play every game
  22. Very impressed with Tyjon in that 10 position. For a young lad shown intelligence to fake and half turn an experienced midfield of Everton. Not once but twice. Excited if we get to see him if he agrees a pro deal. Another CB and box to box midfielder is needed for midweek games and a winger to challenge Hedges. If there is enough in the pot like someone posted above, a player who can get in behind. It’s not looking bleak if players can stay fit or if no one else leaves. But we need more quality on the bench
