  1. Downloaded Klaxons second album 'Surfing The Void' and played it about 4 times in a row at work this morning, was expecting them to switch to a totally different style of music in the wake of all the crappy 'Nu Rave' bands that came about after 'Myths of The Near Future' but they've kept the same sound and improved on it to make (imo) an even better album. If you liked the first album you'll love this...
  2. Haven't been to keen on any of the albums since the first one to be honest, but have bought them all and will probably give this one a listen just to see.
  3. Yeah, I have plans to see them when they tour this time around. Nice tunes btw mate, I had a brief affair making tracks on Reason a while back but didn't come close to those, keep up the good work.
  4. Listening to Crystal Castles oddly self-titled second album (odd as the first album was also self-titled ) and have to say it's brilliant but certainly an acquired taste. The lead single is tune of the year for me so far.
  5. I used to have this exact dream quite regularly, i believe the monster in the dream is called an 'incubus'. The dreams stopped when i stopped smoking cannabis.
  6. Really loving Vampire Weekends second album 'Contra' at the moment, can't help but think of Burnley when I hear the track 'Cousins' for some reason though.
  7. Nice One. It's got a good enough storyline to be a fantastic film, but as someone put in one of the comments ''Is it inevitable for this to be bad''
  8. Condolences to John's family. RIP.
  9. Really want this game but can't afford at the moment Have to agree the city of Rapture is proper eerie, would be cool to see a film there as long as it didn't end up like resident evil, silent hill, mortal kombat, street fighter and all the other failed attempts at converting computer games into films...
  10. bioshock 2 coming out on Feb 9th. If it's anything like first game it should be awesome.
  11. Went to see them at Manchester Apollo on friday, they were amazing.
  12. No offence to the many Museheads on here but heard the new single on MTV2 and all i could think was.... Doctor Who. Damn it's awful.
  13. Yeah, wasn't my fave straight away but it is such a grower, 'City of Bugs' is arguably the best track they've produced so far imo. And for Jamie T i'm about half way through downloading his album, i like the singles he's released from it so far.
  14. Loving The Cribs new album, best one yet. Can't wait to see em next month.
  15. I don't know why people keep referring to them as ''fans''. These people aren't fans they couldn't give a crap about the teams they are watching. Scumbags like these don't deserve to watch football.
  16. Downloaded a leaked track off The Cribs new album which is set to come out in September, the tracks called 'We Were Aborted' and is as fantastic as i expected it to be. Can't wait to see them in Oct and for the new album esp. now Johnny Marr has joined the band.
  17. Really liking this track at the moment. The Chapman Family - Kids
  18. Downloaded Kasabian's new album pre-release. Some really good tracks on the album including Underdog (off the sony bravia advert with Kaka playing footy) and the latest single Fire. I think it sounds more similar to the first album than the previous one, but not sure if it's quite as good as either, to be fair though i've only given it a couple of listens so far. Any one else managed to get hold of it, and what do reckon? Metronomy are ace, been into them for a while now, They look bloody mental live!
  19. Ahh well that I didn't know. Well if you get there first let us know how good/@#/? they are.
  20. Yeah that's another good track. I actually quite liked the first album, as odd as it was. I think the fact that they successfully made such a massive genre change shows that theres talent there. Anyway if u decide not to go i'll let you know how good/@#/? they are live.
  21. Not sure how much the tickets are there but if they are same as Leeds Cockpit (£12) u can afford not to like em i reckon I agree they are very similar to Joy Division but is that such a bad thing?, plus there's worse rip offs out there. Also, just remembered that you can listen to the rest of their album free on the official website. Click
  22. Going to see these in Leeds next month. Totally different and a lot more grown up than the stuff off their first album. Here's two of the best tracks off their new album 'Primary Colours' The Horrors - Scarlet Fields I know, very much influenced by a few 80's band like Joy Division but still fantastic.
  23. Adding on to that i just found this on a google search... Manic Miner Full Game Check out the souped up graphics and remixed sounds
