  1. He "needs time to adapt to English football" - Great meanwhile he is ruining our season with game after game of poor performances... If he is a true professional he wouldnt need a year to get used to being somewhere... Go home Nonda, your not wanted here!

Stuart Pearce: Foreign players not given enough time, instant success demanded.

Give the lad a year. If he is not any good by the end of the season then that is every reason to ship him out.

In the meantime he deserves his chances at impressing and a bit of support, along with the rest of the players in the squad.

  2. obviously it was just me and few hundred sat around me in the bbe who, for the first three seasons, thought Niell was a clumbsy leg breaker who couldn't pass a ball from a - b.

 Taking a note out of BuckyRover's book, Guus Hiddink employed Neill to take the ball out of defence for Australia at the World Cup.

Edit: Saying that he apparently fed a brilliant ball to Matt Derbyshire to put in through for a very good chance just now. :D

  3. Mark Hughes is supposed to be having a meeting with the referees boss at Brockhall sometime soon. Does anybody know when? Also I hope MH is allowed to discuss freely what his concerns are without getting pulled up for his opinions. The ability to show TV clips of the various contentious decisions with a free discussion on each one would also be good, but will it be allowed to happen?

I don't know if this is the meeting or not, but he did mention a two hour chat with Keith Hackett on Radio Rovers and mentioned it again in this article.

"I had a chat with (referees' chief) Keith Hackett for a couple of hours this week."
