People seem to have taken this latest story about Brereton to heart a little. We were never in for him etc.
It's fairly plausible this is forest still trying to squeeze more pounds out of us. I'm sure we were in for him. I'll bet there was no unnamed premier league club and the price is ridiculous in the hope we'll lob another couple of million their way as it seems as though we are still getting a bargain.
Mowbray has already expressed his disdain over media interference when it comes to our targets. Forest are leaking what they want to leak.
They want to sell. We know that. I think they have no intention of selling until the deadline though as they know we are a bit desperate and that's when they can demand more. They hold all the cards as I believe they want to sell but don't have too. We need a striker

Reliable according to who?
QPR supporting mate. Said he's usually fairly on the button with things

In regards to sylla. The journo who wrote the story apparently is fairly accurate in anything QPR related

I think the Rodwell signing may have freed up a little cash set aside for Bauer. Might help us to get one or two of the cash buys over the line

The only thing as pointless as this new thread is me commenting on it

A gamble. But could be a masterstroke. He fails here and it's lower league journeyman on very low wages by his standards for the rest of his career. The signing is clearly closely linked to Charlton not budging on Bauer. Whom I think we will certainly be back in for further down the line.

I love Bradley Dack. Full on man crush

Tony Fernandes not much of a decision maker at QPR these days. Talks ongoing. According to QPR supporting mate who got that from a journo who's usually pretty on the ball with goings on at their club

I'd love Chapman back here. He's a risk but one well worth taking. Gambles on players like him are what this club has always been about. If they pay off it can propel the club to the next level

His disciplinary record is terrible. Numerous yellow cards following a rush of blood to the head. On the plus side he's great at pumping balls into the box.
Can fill in round the back too

Bit inflammatory that isn’t it? Rein it in please. ?
K-hod was right. You were being annoying for literally no reason

I think I must be the only person not overly fussed about Adam Armstrong. He was a key part of us getting promoted last year but massively blew hot and cold. Not sure how he'd handle the step up. Couple of others have said it but Chapman is a far superior player. Just a risk with injuries.

Massive news that it's a season long loan as opposed to 6 months. Will make a huge difference to our season.

I think there are probably more posts in this thread about Chaddy than posts from Chaddy himself....
Give it another year or so and Chaddy will officially be a Z list celebrity with enough fame to justify being on a low quality reality tv show.

Admittedly only YouTube vids but after watching Nmecha I was fairly impressed. He looks like he's got a lot of strength as well as a bit of pace. Players need that strength when dropping down a level. A lack of it is usually where a lot of talented young players come unstuck or take a long time to settle.

Most of the games you mention werent good quality and very boring apart from South Korea and Mexico both beating Germany, Spain Portugal game plus a couple of others
You don't half chat some rubbish Chaddy. The world cup has been superb. Having not watched the games you're in no position to formulate this opinion

A fella I watched the game with had a stopwatch on him. In the second half the ball was only in play for 25 minutes and 52 seconds. Makes no sense to me why fifa don't get a grip of this and stop the clock whilst the ball is dead

Would be lovely to see him match Maradona by single handedly winning a wold cup by himself. Also who do you want to watch play France Nigeria or Iceland or Argentina though I fear I already know the answer to that.
Really don't enjoy watching the likes of Iceland play. Sticking everyone behind the ball. Admire the spirit, passion and determination but it's not great to watch

Pleased to see them progress. Don't understand the irrational hatred of Argentina. I want to see the greatest player of all time perform and create moments to remember.

Loan Window

Usually I'm pretty chill in regards to rovers. Maybe it's been the acceptance of doom over the years. But this window is beginning to pee me off a little. It's all the promise. Of hopefully someone in by the end of the week. And it never happening. Basically they've got my hopes up. And I've a nasty feeling we are going to be left short.
