The "souness should go thread" has vanished. I hope this is not a sign.

If we lose our next 3 games I`ll stand by Souness and if that I means I need help then so be it. It will be interesting to see if other opions change if we win the next 3 though. Jump on them bandwagons folks. Its an easy ride.

Don`t want to cause our mods/admin any more work but would it be possible to have a poll on whether the gaffer should stay or go?

We have had numerous dingles and wind up merchants on this board over the years but the crap coming from Rover6 and Jan2 is complete @#/?. There are opinions and then there is their garbage. Rover6 has claimed to have seen yesterdays game and yet posts on the mb 25 mins after the final whistle. This was pointed out to IT on another thread and IT has posted no reasonable response to this. Rover6, how did you see the game and then post straight after the final whistle? As for Sturrock, **** off. That leads us to the jibbering Jan who wants Souness extradited. Grow up. COME ON SOUEY, LETS GET UP THAT TABLE AND MAKE THESE PEOPLE BIGGER FOOLS THAN THEY ALREADY ARE.

Absolutely spot on - and there lies, IMO, the reason why we're struggling so badly. Maybe they're told to constantly cut in all the time? Either way they're offering little to the team at the moment. If you are to play 5 across the middle then at least one of them should stop out wide? Has Souness resigned in shame tonight? And if he has not, does the board have the guts to sack him, which they should have done weeks ago? If anyone were in any doubt, we now in the midst of a full-blown crisis. Jan2, you maybe having fun but the rest of us are not. We come here to discuss and debate football matters and try and do it in an intelligent and civilised manner. The gaffer screwed up big time. It wasn`t even as if he was trying to combat Charltons injury hit team. He was just trying to accomodate his summer signings all in one team regardless of tactics. We started with a 4 5 1 with Cole looking totally bemused with the lack of support. Jansen then came on to make it a 4 4 2 which in itself is an admission that the 1st half tactics were a balls up. Then Baggio comes on and its a 3 5 2. As for when gallagher came on, the formation looked like a line on bingo. Who was where? Stinks of desperation. Souey`s done well but now he really needs to show his metal.
