We'd be a lot safer now had we lost 1-,0 to Bristol city

"with all respect to Blackburn. The only way he could reach the Premier League is by getting promoted with a club like Sunderland."
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Actually more unbelievable is Blackburn won the fan engagement award 🤣

Can't believe Summerville got player of the season over him.

I believe because Brum and Huddersfield play each other, then beat Wednesday and we are mathematically safe?
-
Nah Chelsea won't outscore us
-
Theoretical question.
Would you rather finish 7th and make the semi final ( no guarantee how we progress after)
Finish 6th and lose Sunday. (No guarantee how we perform in playoffs.)

This is aimed at no-one on here as it's a concept rife everywhere in the game these days, but bottle up this feeling for every time someone suggests the Cup is a distraction these days, a throw back to the era of keepers without gloves, Inside Rights and lifting over the turnstiles. It's well over two days off yet and we may come away with nothing to show, but I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve. Absolute fucking dynamite is this competition.
Great post.
I for one saw this as a distraction. Win against Norwich wishing it was 3 league points.
Annoyed Birmingham game was a replay wasting fitness.
Thinking we'd get battered at Leicester and destroy our confidence.
Suddenly we are 90 minutes away from our first day at new Wembley ( only 1 of 6 league clubs not to experience that)
Ironically our last semi final appearance almost saw us as one of the first clubs at new Wembley.

Hypothetical.
Would you rather win tomorrow or on the 19th. For me I'd rather 19th.
Obviously still want us to win tomorrow

So it's JDT. Had we not conceded an equaliser in the first attempt. we'd not of been playing that day.

Likely scenario: Treading water in January and Brereton gets his £6m - £10m move.
Best case scenario: We're knee deep in promotion hunt, and he stays, maybe signs. PL push?
Worst case scenario: we don't go up and he leaves for free.
Nightmare scenario: He leaves for free and we get relegated.
None of those scenarios are worth Fulhams £6m in August 2022.
Well I'd rather 6m then the nightmare scenario 🤣

I have a sneaky feeling Dack will be on the bench tonight.

So...
This time tomorrow we could be over the magic 50 point marker. In January, I genuinely feared relegation after selling Armstrong and Losing Elliott. I'm sure I wasn't alone
How different reality is turning to be. Even getting playoffs this year would be a great achievement. Fair play to all involved, including dare I say Mowbray.

Like this is just mad now. It's crazy. Enjoy the money who ever bet on the 20 goals and didn't cash out. Your bravery deserves it, at this rate you'll have the money for Christmas

Those games are not official FIFA dates so it'll be interesting to watch the tug of wars betwixt CONMEBOL and the players' respective clubs for those dates. Mowbray certainly wont play ball if Brereton is still at Blackburn.
wouldn't be so sure...

Weren't we 2-0 up v Cardiff and went onto score 5? I agree with the concern though.
You are right scored 3 and conceded 7

So this season when 2-0 up.
1 goal scored, 6 conceded.
Happy with the win but needs addressing

We are not playing well. But lord the referee is playing worse

Not sure about this feel food factor, even if modest, because I feel like we've papered over the cracks and nothing more. It feels inevitable that the supporters within Ewood will turn on Mowbray at the earliest opportunity and that will certainly come sooner rather than later. Might sound odd for me to state this after a home win and a clean sheet, but I think Mowbray is out of ideas, out of players, and out of time (two of those three have arguably been there for at least a season or two). The only question is not when but if Venkys pull the trigger. It feels like a ticking time bomb that should have detonated years ago but one that's got stuck.
Sort of feel similar. My feel good factor at the moment is that i'm starting to think there's worse teams then us and built 7 points on relegation. That's as far as I can get excited by.

Unless the next 3 hours bring 4 contract renewals and a decent permanent striker it's a poor window.
Holes in the squad only temporarily filled with bigger ones to appear next summer.

Gray is a 20 goal striker at this level.
Scored 5 in 30 last season.
Doubt he'll get more then 10.

Usual practice for last round of games. All played same time to stop result fixing. Also done before PL games so they have time to show a few on TV
