Not read the thread so I can give my unbiased view.
I almost like the idea apart from the 9 club special voting right. What gives them more rights?
Stick to a straight majority rule. 10 out of 18

Sorry if it's been mentioned only read last few pages.
However see LT are reporting we paid no initial fee for the GK. Seems an incredible deal, granted performance bonuses and sell on clauses but the lad basically being a free transfer is a huge win!

A midfield 3 of Rothwell, Holtby and Travis is promotion worthy. I was wrong about Holtby (but then he was a terrible #10) but the other two I've said are great Championship CMs for a while.
You just have to hear the fear in iFollow commentator's voices when Rothwell gets the ball and carries it through the centre of the park - and the relief / disbelief in their voices when he's taken off after 60 minutes. Often accompanied with "I thought he was one of their better players".
While I agree all 3 are great midfielders, especially in this pressing football we are playing. Who offers that Johnson role that worked so well in the early weeks of the season. Travis maybe but I'd actually on current form and tactics go Johnson and 2 of the 3 listed.
P.S. Actually bring back Dack and it's 2 from 4. If we are going to bring in another midfielder this window we need to bring in a Johnson like DMC. I'd prioritise a LB and additional cover for Armstrong before hand however.

Can I Just say he looks a class act.
seems steady shot stopper and been a while since we've had a goalkeeper with his level of distribution. It really fits in to our pressing style.
long may it continue.

Let's just be clear,
Stock market price has no direct correlation to free cash flow a company has to offer a club. A higher stock price is driven by external belief of the company to continue to generate profits over time (ultimately to pay dividends). However that only benefits Venkys if they have a need to raise cashflow from a stock float.
An annology to this I may own a house that is increasing in value over time but day to day I'm broke with nothing to spend. Sure I could sell the house or remortgage but it's a big decision that is strategic and takes time to exicute
When you float shares it's usually for a big investment decision that your current share holders can get behind. Not to pay Mark Venus European nights out.

No
But reading above funny how everyone really rated Johnson when he started, his form definitely faded away.

Pretty happy with Mowbrays comments. Seems like our recruitment is geared towards the defence where it's desperately needed.
If we get the defenders we need and there is enough room to bring Downing in, i'd be happy enough for him to come back.
Sound bites can be amazing

I'd be satisfied with a GK, DC and DL brought in if our budget is minimum.
Ideally downing signs on, we get a experienced striker and another DC and back up GK but if we address the above first i'm fairly comfortable our academy lot can start filling bin the gaps.
-
Not sure how many of you use NewsNow but looks like our ladies team are busy in the market!
Thought we'd made a double signing today for a moment

We huffed and puffed there.
Lacked any real quality. Felt we missed Dack today for the first time in a while.
We neither won a playoff place or lost it today. However coupled with losing 2 points on Saturday negativety is in the air.
I actually thing we can't blame Mowbray too much tonight for the match itself . I'd of picked same squad apart from playing it with the 4-4-2 we used 2nd half.
What I do blame Mowbray for is the lack of January recruitment. 2 seasons in a row I think it'll cost us. More so this season.
-
Won't panic but after a decent starting 10 minutes that went downhill.
Personally think downing isn't looking great today. Needs a rest.
Oh and the obvious one in Gallagher. Think a 4-4-2 is the answer here.

Still plenty of time left, lads.
Wouldn't say it's quite time for panic stations yet.
You feel how we start second half will be key here

Here's one for you, if they get rid of Woodgate do you think they'd go for Mowbray? Would Mowbray be tempted by home comforts?

Amazed if Woodgate keeps his job until the end of the weekend, doing a dismal job.
Weird only a few weeks ago I think they were starting to settle and climbing back up the table.
I actually thought our away point was very good one to get.
Strange what 4-5 results do to a club and manager.
Exact same with Shef Wednesday. They were 3rd at Christmas. Just beaten Leeds when we played them. Now look at them.
Things change quickly in this league

Days like today are why I Like the fact we get a lot of 3 game weeks in the Championship.
Today will be judged a success or failure this time next Saturday.
We go back to Ewood for 2 more games, difficult games but if we play with the same effort and commitment as today there's no reason we won't bring in 7 points this week.
All that matters is where we are in May. A point against a good Brentford team is a good sign but what we do at Home is more important.

You know what.
That half was imperfectly perfect.
Will be very tough next half. Huge 45 minutes.
-
Is this the same GK we had on loan at the start of the season?
-
Not Sure If it's the few beers on a Friday but i'm looking forward to tomorrow/ next week. This fixture defined our season last year. It could well do the same again this year.
It will really be a barometer if we have or haven't progressed in the last year.
It won't define whether Mowbray job is secure, he all but us having a complete collapse get's another crack at it next season (especially considering the injuries).
However I think we'll know keeping in mind our 2 games after are back at Ewood if we are genuinely in a Play off fight after the week is done.
That said a point tomorrow should indicate a positive result as long as it was gained in a positive manner (ALA not how we played against Fulham).
6 points this week is the minimum ideally we get some from a fellow rival!

Would of rather tried Buckley instead of Evans.
Lot of pressure for Holtby to drive the creative force tonight in midfield.
