  1. After tonight's game it is a NO from me on Alesaami. The whole team did not perform any good, but he was maybe the worst of the bunch. Clearly lacking match fitness as well. The norwegian coach has his favourites, and plays them anyway. Even if they don't play regulary in their team or in Alesaami's case, doesn't have a club.
  2. He is probably a more defensive minded player than his father was. There is tough competiton in central midfield for our national team, but might see him there in the future. Think he is better on set pieces than Lars as well : But well out of our reach financially I guess.
  3. I think he is a good player! There has been a lot of interest lately, but the offers have not been good enough. Been linked to french clubs and N.Forest I think. Looks like he is staying in Stabæk for the rest of this season, probably going to be sold in january. The other guy I mentioned earlier in the summer, Andreas Hanche-Olsen (also from Stabæk) he is going to Belgium and Gent.
  4. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18769670.mowbray-possible-incomings-no-bids-rovers-assets/ "The Lancashire Telegraph understands that Rovers have looked to central Europe, and Scandinavia, for possible left back options, and having eyed goalkeepers last summer, and this, that route could also be utilised to find a back-up option for Thomas Kaminski which would allow Andrew Fisher to go out on loan. Norwegian Haitam Aleesami, a free agent since leaving French side Amiens following their relegation from Ligue 1, is reportedly a target, according to reports in Norway, though Rovers haven’t commented on any possible interest. Norwegian outlet nettavisen.no say Rovers are keen to make a move for the 29-year-old, though neither the player, or his agent, have commented on the reports. Aleesami, despite being without a club, is in the Norway squad ahead of their Serbia (October 8), Romania (October 11) and Northern Ireland (October 14) as he looks to build on his 30 caps. Mowbray said players that European targets Rovers had scouted were still available, should the financials be agreed, with the boss hoping deals will drop for the club who have found it difficult to get them over the line this summer. "
  5. I can agree that it is not a exciting deal, I would rather see a younger player with huge potential come in (who wouldn't), but I guess this is where we are financially? But my view is that he is better than Bell, he does have international experience and have played at higher level than Bell as well.
  6. https://www.transfermarkt.com/haitam-aleesami/profil/spieler/230166 Haitam Aleesami.
  7. Partly true, but he got experience from international football, Serie A and Ligue 1. On a free transfer it is low risk transfer and I doubt he would demand any big wages. In my view he is an upgrade on Bell.
  8. 'I told you so" @RoversClitheroe ? Have mention this guy a couple of times this window. It says that we are very keen to sign him according to sources.
  9. No clue to be honest, but the left back on our national team could be a good shout.
  10. Sharpe said that he has heard whispers of an overseas left back on a free, who could that be? https://www.transfermarkt.com/spieler/vertragslosespieler/statistik/1/plus//galerie/0?ausrichtung=Abwehr&spielerposition_id=4&land_id=alle&altersklasse=&wettbewerb_id=alle&seit=alle&yt0=Show
  11. Here you go : https://www.transfermarkt.com/haitam-aleesami/profil/spieler/230166 Still without a club and plays for our national team.
  12. What about a loan move for Stefan Johansen from Fulham? That is IF we manage to get in a left back and a backup GK first.
  13. Juklerød was mentioned the other day, he is an attacking full back.
  14. It is the same account yes, but it has some good info lately, especially in the lower leagues. Tought i'd just post it since there is no other rumours at all these days.
  15. Luke Garbutt that was mentioned here earlier, has signed for Blackpool.
  16. I like Juklerød, if I remember correctly he used to play as a winger when he was at Vålerenga. But he has played more as a leftback in Belgium. https://www.transfermarkt.com/simen-juklerod/leistungsdaten/spieler/230985 He said in an interview earlier in the summer that he would be open for a move this window. He probably has a bigger name in Belgium than in Norway. Was in team of the season last year and plays midfield/back in a 3-5-2 formation.
  17. "The manager doesn't know that" is a strange quote. "No. That's a name you've just thrown at me. It's not true. I think Ryan Manning is a very good footballer, I imagine QPR are not going to let him walk away. Haven't Mowbray been looking at Manning before ? https://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive-blackburn-made-deadline-day-bid-to-sign-qpr-23-yr-old/ "A source at Loftus Road has told Football Insider that second-tier rivals Blackburn launched a late bid to sign the versatile Irishman on Friday but that it was swiftly rejected the club." I would imagine he would be cheaper now than he would have been almost a year ago ?
  18. Ryan Manning is the name doing the rounds on Twitter tonight it seems. A previous target, Brad Smith, has joined Seattle Sounders.
