  1. WHEN West Ham get relegated and Cashoneill invokes his clause to leave, who the hell will buy him? He has shown no loyalty to nobody but his bank manager. There are far better players about that are not mercenary, so hopefully he will be unemployed come May 2007. He's gone off injured today? AWWWWW what a pisser!
  2. If I had known it was you selleing 'em, I would have done!! I will Paypal you some money and you can let me have one tomorrow if you are at the City game......
  3. Its Gaz then - or as they said at the Germany/Poland border GARY GINGA!!
  4. Just tell me who you ARENT!! that should help!! P
  5. Its doing my fooookin heed in - thats for sure. Hmmm
  6. Hmmmmmmmm........ neither was I. Was there someone else in the boot, or had I drunk too many bottles of LECH to rememeber?
  7. Eh? With Tes Watson & Gaz Ginger, Me n John Ellison? Too much of a coincidence!!
  8. Yes, you are right - he did work for the ad boards firm, and travelled between Warsaw and Moscow. We saw him in the bar that had all the Warsaw 'west ham' fans as they called themselves. Did you travel with the club, or independantly?
  9. Do you remember the Burnley fan singing at the end of the game? He was stood in the side that had been occupied by the Legia fans...I thought that was QUALITY!! We caught him in a bar after and threatened to expose him as the dingle in the ground, but he bought us off with some champions league badges (who he actually worked for) Top few days - lousy game - bad result - long drive- ALL worth it!
  10. Hakan Unsal had a crumper of a left foot! As for Neill - good luck to him - if I want to change jobs, I go ahead and do it. I will be glad when the whole thing is over, but people must remember that he played his part on saturday to earn us 3 points we desperately needed - a job he is paid to do. Big head, two faced, arrogant - whatever. He is off, so thanks for the effort. Barcelona though................?
  11. Hey handbag............... Thanks for your honesty. I was not looking forward to todays game - you seem so strong at home, and we seem so weak away from home. But, at last Rovers have shown some fighting spirit, and God, ho we needed it. You have made a great start in the PL and deserve to be where you are..............good luck COME ON YOU BLUES!
  12. Andy Todd was fantastic yesterday. That is the level of commitment that other players in the team should aspire to. (yes, Nonda & Mcarthy I DO mean you) He may have said the wrong stuff and perhaps shown he wants a change off the field, but on the field yesterday he was a giant. Come on MH, bury the hatchet, and get Todd where he is best, at centre half. As for his arse - I am not gay either - but its MASSIVE!
  13. Ciao Max, and welcome to the site. Good to have you on the messageboard! Perhaps the best way to improve your English!
  14. What a few days!! Great result - last 32 - a small town in Europe indeed! Proud to be a Blackburn Rovers supporter
  15. The 18:00 flight from Leeds Bradford will be like the Great Harwood Special!!! Apart from me (dingle land), my bruv (preston) and Lizz (Darwen), I think almost the whole flight will be made up of 'arroders. My girlfriends Mum is frantically sewing BRFC onto my England Flag!! Come on ROVERS!
  16. I know that hotel hortus has rooms. Its 27 euros per night. www.hotelhortus.com Come on you blues!
  17. Will, I couldnt agree more! Perhaps most people cant remember the sneaky away games... mansfield, carlisle, notts county, dingles, portsmouth, hull..........all from the eighties and all of 'em sh*t me up, but what a buzz! I cant wait to see all those Rovers fans in one place... a bit like Wembley '87! COME ON YOU BLUES!!
  18. IF ALL GOSSIP IS TO BE BELIEVED, AND AFTER THE BRILLIANT RESULT LAST NIGHT, THERE SHOULD BE A FANTASTIC AWAY FOLLOWING FOR THE FEYERNOORD GAME. I THINK THIS SHOULD BE AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET AS MANY ROVERS FANS TOGETHER IN ONE PLACE AT AN AWAY MATCH AS POSSIBLE. LETS USE THIS THREAD TO COME UP WITH SOME IDEAS FOR A MEETING SPOT IN AMSTERDAM - IT WILL BE AMAZING TO SEE SO MANY FACES FROM THE PAST, ALL GATHERED TOGETHER FOR ONE BIG SHINDIG PERHAPS MEET AT DAM SQUARE....................? ------------------------------------------COME ON YOU BLUES!!!-------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------BRING ON THE AMSTEL!!!------------------------------------
  19. Just how good is Tugay? Last night he was left to fend for himself in the midfield after Sav left the field injured, and he was just a joy to watch. Some of his passing was awe inspiring, but so simple at the same time. His perception of player position and movement is amazing. If only he was 21! I think he is playing as good this season as he has ever done. As for his goal................................ Incredible. That lifted the whole team performance. He is a true genius. THANKS TUGAY FOR WEARING OUR SHIRT WITH PRIDE
  20. I WAS WITH LADS FROM MY HOME TOWN PRESTON........... HOW ###### DID I FEEL WHEN ALL MY NOBBER MATES WERE ACTUALLY PLEASED THAT SWANSEA HAD BEATEN THEM TO KEEP US DOWN. GOAL DIFFERENCE IS A CRUEL WAY TO LOSE OUT. WE HAVE DONE OK SINCE THOUGH....PROMOTION...FULL MEMBERS CUP....JACK WALKER...ALAN SHEARER....PREMIERSHIP.....WORTHY CUP......EUROPE. NOT BAD FOR A 'SMALL TOWN' CLUB EH?
  21. I KNOW THIS WAS NOT THE HAPPIEST DAY - BUT IT DESERVES A MENTION BECAUSE OF THE AMAZING SUPPORT WE HAD AT THE RACECOURSE GROUND THAT DAY. ALL THE SHINNANIGINS WITH THE SWANSEA SUPPORTERS ON THE WAY DOWN AT EACH SERVICES, AND EVEN WORSE ON THE WAY HOME - HILTON PARK WAS BAD (GOOD?!!). I TRAVELLED DOWN IN MY PALS AUSTIN ALLEGRO IN THE BEST CONVOY EVER. JUST OUTSIDE BRISTOL WE WERE STUCK IN TRAFFIC AND IT WAS BLUE AND WHITE FOR AS FAR AS YOU COULD SEE. FOUND THE GROUND AND SQUEEZED IN BEHIND THE GOAL. WE NEEDED TO WIN AND PRAY THAT NOB END EITHER DREW WITH OR BEAT SWANSEA. ROVERS WENT 1-0 UP AND WE WENT BANANAS, ESPECIALLY WHEN SOMEONE STARTED A RUMOUR THAT THE NOBBERS WERE WINNING 1-0 TOO. AT THE FINAL WHISTLE WE KNEW THAT WE HAD DONE ALL WE CAN, BUT THAT SWANSEA HAD WON AT DEEPDALE. ALL THE LADS IN THE NAUGHTY CORNER DECIDED TO GET RID OF THEIR FRUSTRATION ON THE BRISTOL BOYS - THAT KEPT US OCCUPIED FOR A WHILE. THERE WAS TROUBLE AT ALMOST EVERY SERVICES THAT NIGHT ON THE WAY HOME. WE EVEN PASSED THE TEAM COACH WITH HOWARD KENDALL SAT ON THE FRONT SEAT - THAT WOULD BE THE LAST TIME WE SAW HIM AS ROVERS MANAGER AS HE JOINED EVERTON THAT SUMMER. DESPITE THE RESULT - WHAT A DAY - AND WHAT AMAZING SUPPORT - THATS WHY ITS ROVERS FOREVER
  22. Quite a few........... one of the lads that went with us had his shoes stolen while he was asleep!!!
