My only reall memories of Birmingham are when we played them at St Andrews when the pitch looked like a tractor had been let loose on it. And I think once the floodlights failed.

City were the better team over 2 legs and deserve to be in the final.
PSG were a bit of a disgrace, especially before and immediately after Di Maria's sending off. I thought that City would have taken their foot off the pedal after that but they still went for it. It looked like they were trying to score more to rub it in.
PSG are inconsistent. They have too many players who sulk when its not going their way instead of trying twice as hard. For all their faults and failings (I can't stand City or their incomprehensible manager, who speaks good English, but somehow manages to annoy me every time he opens his mouth) City have developed the winning mentality and sheer determination that makes the difference between winners and nearly teams. PSG don't have that.

Those are 'quotes' from LET fans. Not Stuart's opinions at all.

What does that even mean?
Is 'H' a word or secret code known only to certain types?
Serious question by the way.
Edit: I get incorrect spelling so no need to go all school room.
Edit 2: Cracked it. Strange Times but all in the Line of Duty
I normally try to resist the desire to correct spelling mistakes, although sometimes I can't. However, that one was just too topical.

Critique of the powers that be, fair enough. I know not everything in life gets a happy ending and I get the points that episode made, but this isn't real life, not even close so why couldn't we have something just a bit more explosive and dramatic?
-
Haven't bought it or looked at it in years.

I dont either but it doesn't mean I dont care. Relegation and the shambles of a club still hurts

Sadly, whoever is manager, I still will.

Thanks Stuart. I feel better each day and we come our this pandemic and lockdown measures.
You cant answer how many supporters want to protest about Mowbray's future?
Also are going to.say no to your children wanting some Rovers club merchandise?
I would because most of it is ridiculously priced. I'm stingy like that. I only ever bought Rovers shirts as birthday presents. I said no to most things my kids wanted really. They knew we simply couldn't afford to splash the cash if they wanted season tickets. And in those days they did.

Having thought about it I’ve missed football massively, I live in Urmston now. So Mowbray staying won’t have an impact on me renewing, I’ve got two young kids if I stop going and don’t take them. Their loyalties will get hoovered up by one of the Manchester teams who have a presence in the local schools. If Mowbrays there come august we will be there as well
So if Mowbray is still in charge you're going to start watching United or City? I want Mowbray out but that seems a little strange to me
Edited just now by Kie_BRFC
i read that as he will still go to watch rovers

Depends where the elsewhere is. I have a season ticket for Clitheroe. Non league, my local team and cheap as chips. If Rovers are playing id go there. If not I'd go to Clitheroe. I wouldn't go and buy a season ticket at another league club.

I was pleased about it but it didn't fill me with the kind of excitement I used to feel when I would go to work on Monday still buoyed up by the result on Saturday.

No idea if he ever was. You'll have to ask the person who wrote the article.
Im not sure he ever was reliable but he did have contacts and was occasionally right about the broad story outline even if the details were lacking. Very good at phrasing things so that he could wriggle out of things if what he predicted didn't materialise

And how many of the other reasons are to do with Mowbray? I thought about returning and bought a matchday ticket. I was treated to a 1-0 loss to Luton and some of the worst football I'd seen at Ewood. If there's nothing but blind loyalty dragging you to Ewood then it's hard to justify buying tickets, and especially putting in money upfront for a ST, if there's no real enjoyment or pleasure. Like many others, I've found other things to do because nothing about Mowbray's team or brand of football excites me. I dont follow other league football but have gone non league and Rugby Union. I couldn't support another club but the difference between the other things I do now follow, and Rovers, in terms of the professionalism with which the entire club is run, is phenomenal. Clitheroe do a better job of communicating.

Here's the link to the Nixon tweet story about Mowbray staying.
Although I think it was Nixon who started the story a few weeks/months ago about Rovers going for a foreign coach?
I think what is fairly clearly is that nobody has a clue.
The only thing I know is that they can shove my ST application form up Mowbray's arse if he's staying as manager.
You lost me at Reliable journalist. When, in Rovers terms, was Nixon last that?

Just hope that the rumours are correct and that myself and @K-Hod get a wonderful birthday present after our final game of the season. 🙏
Dont get your hopes up. I thought he was going on my birthday a couple of weeks ago.

We can't interview anyone because we still have a manager. I really wish we could come up with an idea on how to get rid of him.
-
The problem is that NO manager is guaranteed success at any given club. Some will give you a better chance than others but every managerial appointment is a gamble. We need to get rid of the one we have first anyway.

Youd give him that much?

One thing you can be sure of if Ainsworth came in would be that we wouldn't lose out on or reject players because of fashion faux pas.

No, I saw Caroli several times and he was actually funny

Today would be a great day to get out Tony. So much else going on nobody would notice your departure except the delighted Rovers fans

Look the slow build was meant to reach fruition this season. It clearly hasn't. I have no doubt he is using Covid as an excuse with Venkys and it comes down to whether they buy that or not. They probably will and give him next season to see out his contract. It will be a relegation battle I imagine.
Wont be much of a battle with him in charge, will it?

Yes I dont think I'd now give up my Sharks season ticket for a Rovers one, but there are plenty of weekends where I could do both and take in a Clitheroe match too, but not if the surcharge remains, tickets are expensive and especially not if Mowbray remains
