Honestly, I was annoyed at the errors and let him know last night :P told him to send EVERYTHING through me to proofread first.

Why? I'd rather it cracks on with action if I'm being brutally honest, it's a trust not a cooperate enterprise

I'm disappointed by this article. I had understood from the pre-election discussion the intention was to move the Rovers Trust in a new direction. This is same old, same old.

    Yes, it should be proofread.

Tbf John Murray only officially took over Monday from Wayne.

Christ Paul a proofread? It was fine unless being ultra picky!!!!! though I'm sure the RT will get or build numbers up of volunteers who'd fulfill that role!

Oh such wishful thinking. Politicians have bigger vote grabbing issues at hand than Blackburn rovers. Besides, how much of an understanding will she get after a 20-30 minute chat? Does she know anything about the issues and what has gone on at the club already?

I wager nothing will happen after the meeting takes place. I would advise caution with people getting their hopes up about what will happen here. Venkys aren't going anywhere until ,for whatever reason, they decide to.

From the conversations I've had with her team, they are heavily under the influence from many of these assurances the FA have been providing her. It only took one or two points brought up to actually cast doubt on what she and colleagues had been assured by the FA, allot of it seemingly not correct and the evidence out there providing contrary to many claims.

No hopes up but it's a step in the right direction. I'd hope after a 30 minute chat shes engaged enough to take away food for thought, pose some questions to herself based on these previous assurances and starts bringing up some of these at her monthly efl meetings. It's a chance to create some regular dialogue with an influential party.

  4. It's 30 mins with the sports MP, but it's now an opportunity to look to create a relationship with these types, all of whom will upon hopefully of this meeting start giving BRFC the attention and scrutiny it's been missing. I will speak from experience that these people are very busy, not aware of the ins and outs of the situation at hand but hopefully this is a springboard to go forwards with.

Mowbray has tightened us up defensively, and made us more difficult to beat. Unfortunately he has not been able to instill a winning mentality into our players, or erase the cowardice from their character. As Gav said, you can motivate and plan all day long, but if the players are crap the effect will be limited. That's what we've seen since Mowbray arrived.

Other than the injury prone Mulgrew we have no quality in our team. It's a squad full of misfits, has-beens and never have beens. We're going down because we've sold all of our best players and replaced them with absolute garbage and cast offs from teams in the same division. Not too dissimilar from when we were dumped out of the PL.

In football it's about a balance from defending and being tight/resolute without stumping the attacking prowess of the side. That was Coyle's problem, happy to score 2 in a 3-2 defeat five times! BUT couldn't keep the back door shut.

Mowbray is suffering from the other way around, too rigid throughout the team and it's stunted the attack.

What a load of rubbish you are talking.

Look at orgainsed we were today and Forest away. The team were orgainsed, shape was good.

And just for the record I was there today. Sat on Row B

I don't think i've mentioned anything about organisation of shape?

More down to Fawaz's unusual business style and refusal to appoint a CEO than a lack of money or investment.

Infact just about the only thing he can't be criticised for at Forest is spending money. He's spent a fortune, albeit with a lot wasted. Recently they've had a few big sales as he looks to cut costs but then he still allowed re-investment into quality like Clough to the tune of a few million.

Investment in football is putting above and beyond the bare minimum in to keep the doors open to try and improve the club and its chances of success.

Venkys think investment is servicing the debt and paying the wages they have contracted themselves into paying. A bit like me buying a house and claiming investment because I pay the gas and electric bill. Never mind the walls are falling down and there's no roof.

Please write a blog... It'd be fantastic! At least consider it! Bang on every time!

WAR was a red herring in a way because it didn't have any members to drive it forward.

Following the Blakeys meeting, fans stayed in their individual groups. Those groups have come together at the Ewood Park WMC meetings, which have been held twice a month ever since.

The next meeting is 7.30 Tuesday 25 April, Ewood Park WMC. All welcome.

Indeed, new RT chairman John Murray and ex board member and now part of new team Ozz, Brags mark fish and Paul keogh, Ewood Blues passionate Birdy, then popular independents whom blog and research rovers amongst other reps of groups.

Its becomming a good platform to unite tbh

This was taken from a poster on the lancs telegraph message board in reply to someone who questioned the article about summoning the spirit. Some people just dont get it.

    Some people are just thick.

Thats your opinion not mine. We will see and judge him on signings in the summer.

You arent interested in the team on the pitch. I am.

Did you sing and back the boys today? Appears Ewood was once again sat in silence? So who on either side of the fence is actually getting behind these boys?

Proven liar Chaddy, why prolong it further, why let it rot more? 7 years not enough?

I'm not interested in being naive. Of course i am on the pitch but that eleven today showed exactly what they thought of Chaddy and Blueboy etc.

Who mentioned anything about being interested about what's on the pitch, you quoted my thoughts on Senior? as below

    Quote

    You don't learn.

Senior - "No added value" was why he dismissed any January signing despite there being monies available and players lined up sat in hotels etc which i don't see how given the perilous state of the finances of the club anyways. Given the supporters consultation which you seem well informed on provided Senior hits of "I made a good decision did i not" on both the Joao and Mowbray additions.

When the F**k are you going to wake up and realise he like the rest are charlatans out for themselves?

Your not stupid so stop buying the PR spin, you can't PR spin a second relegation can you? Which directly hes 50% of this season responsible for.

    PS@rovers.co.uk Give Paul a email

Don't change the focus of the argument here. Senior has been caught out bullshitting

"Sometimes you have got to take a step back to move forward" - Paul $enior - 7th May 2017 2pm

Steve Kean after Wigan, that turd flusher Orr said the exact same.

    Remember it like yesterday.

I know Blackburn isn't the main hub of intelligence (What place is renowned as?) but we have some of the most gullible fans going.

    Needs to stop

    Absolutely fuming with this appointment

Embarrassing. Quit his last job after failing to win in 10 games. Let's see what he can do in 15. I imagine we'll get 6 more points.

He got sacked from the Celtic job. That is an achievement in itself.

One good spell in charge of WBA, a team he eventually relegated. This is a very, very worrying appointment.

Jesus god dam christ I give up! You go from Adkins to Mowbray....How can you make such idiotic, shameful footballing decisions! You have a whole list of decent managers who would be willing to come. Whether it is Hill, Jackett, Adkins, or whoever else but you go for Tony God Dam Mowbray

    shameful posts tbh.

Maybe not that shameful after all Ninja page 30.

Although Jose would struggle, can't help but now be disappointed with the point return ratio from TM most notably, Burton, PNE and possibly today.
