Has a Championship team ever been relegated with the top scorer?
I just have no words and no energy left for this pathetic heap of deadwood that we pay to wear the shirt every week. Where was the urgency after we went behind?

It's like playing with NINE men when Gallagher is on, useless lump (that our feckless club will no doubt offer another contract for and refuse to sell)

Wakey wakey Rovers ffs
Yet again allowing doing the hard stuff one week and then letting mediocre opposition get on top of us 🙄 -

Who is choosing this shite music .. fuck the smiths
Anyone know what that 90s rave sounding tune they play before the game is? As I can't be there in person, I only hear it from afar on iFollow...

I’d say 18 months but he will get their with the right mentality and luck with injuries
Will be difficult to get ahead of TAA (who's arguably the best passer in the world and still can't get into the team...)

Not a single win from Eustace yet, certainly looks like freefall to me.

Why promote 15 year olds to the first team (when that just puts them in the shop window for other clubs)? Another example of the absolutely shambolic running of this club

Are we ever going to see Gilsenan get a run?
This side is crying out for some direct attacking flair and creativity, utter dross again- 3

- No creativity
- No urgency
- No control of the ball
- All the excitement of an amateur snooker game with none of the tension and certainly none of the finesse
SHIIIITE!!

I just cant get my head around the official rovers Facebook comments of the signings!
Particularly with Flecks! You'd think we'd have signed messi(seriously!) what planet are these people from!? You'd assume they were just naive kids posting or somat... But no they're bloody mostly adults.
And the even slightly pessimistic/realistic comment that gets made causes a wich hunt against you!
Just pathetic.
The majority seem to think that ANYONE expressing even slight disapproval of the club's running is down to that person actively hating the club and that if we just "get behind the team" and "stop the moaning" and let everything continue as it is, it'll all be fine.
They don't seem to realise that criticism and drumming up support for protest is pretty much the only recourse we as long-paying (and suffering) supporters have to actually influence how the club is run.
Anyway, welcome to Blackburn, East Lancashire... 🤪- 4

"With Tom Bogert confirming that the loan fee is worth $700,000 with a purchase option of around $7 million, plus $2.5 million in add-ons"
Equivalent to roughly 550k, and then £5.5m + another £2m, madness

The thing that annoys me most about all these young Prem loans is we keep getting the players who aren't performing and don't look like they're going to make the cut at their parent club (even when these same clubs also have other players they're looking to loan out in the Championship who are actually decent!)
What's the point of insisting on playing the Tyler Mortons of this world week-in, week-out to apparently develop a relationship with their parent club at the behest of our own prospects, if we just then get loaded with these clubs' academy chaff the next season?- 6

So depressing.
We have billionaire owners but we are seen as a soft touch by the likes of Luton, Brentford and Crystal Palace.
Agreed, letting Wharton go now for the initial fee that was discussed (and not trying to raise that with other clubs circling) looks like poor business, particularly if there's no sell on fee + looking at other deals for similar players.

His recruitment has been hit and miss.
Wahlstedt looks a very poor signing.
The others we paid £1 million plus on haven't been dire .Szmodic ,Brittain and Hyam.
Szmodic is the top scorer in the championship FFS and bought for £2 mil plus extras
Wahlstedt came with a good reputation though, and all signs were that he'd make a good keeper. Fully expect him to go elsewhere at some point and become a great success (as is bloody typical with Rovers).

Incredibly disappointing but I'll agree he looked an OK acquisition at the time.
Don't think Brittain is as terrible as many are making out, in many games he's played for us he's been arguably our best player, just seems (like Hyam) to be declining in form and going through frequent injury spells of late

Good luck to Wharton
Absolutely gutted to be losing him, and feel that's some poor negotiation that we've settled for £22m inc. add ons considering that's been their apparent price point for the last few days + looking at other similar transfers that have happened, but what can you do, COYB

Really not sure about this American lad, £2.3m for 15 goals in 37 MLS appearances doesn't bode well. We don't need potentially another donkey upfront (hope I have to eat my words)

I see potential in Ennis personally, don't think he's been that bad when he's played - his availability is my only issue.
If we're loaning him out, i'd like to see him have 6 months at Peterborough - they're about to sell JCH, I think Niall would get a good run of games there and do well.
Has a nice touch and the right physique to do hold up play well if he can stay off the treatment table (and we had an actual striker...)
Clearly had a goal or two in him as well at Plymouth, maybe just needs to get on a run.

Sigurdsson reminds me of the lad Antonsson we had on loan. He'd be deadly in League One but there's not enough about him for the Championship.
Shockingly slow for someone who's played at the top level

Utterly bizarre deal bringing in two youth products who will just go back to their respective teams at the end of the season.
Don't play and we strain (or at least don't enrich) our relationship with their parent clubs.
Play well or otherwise, and we lose them.
Can't see what the rationale for bringing them in is besides getting more bodies in the squad for a dogfight, but at the expense of loaning out your very experienced captain (also with no option for that club to buy), utterly strange.- 2

It's just so maddening because you sometimes feel there IS a player in the likes of Pears, Hyam, Brittain, Dolan, Gallagher. All of them have been our MOTM several times, but nobody running the club seems to be able to get a consistent tune out of them.
And as it is we have, respectively, a keeper who makes a part-time hobby of losing us games through completely avoidable howlers (two if you count Wahlstedt), a Duffy MK. 2 wannabe, a defender who can't defend (and can't be arsed), a winger with lightning quick feet but no brain and the most physically useless big lump ever to play target man in the football league.
