how were the drums...same old story every chant people started, the drum started mark hughes blue and white army...he did the jungle jim rythem thing and everyone sang "wht the f hell is that! " and booed..he clapped everything with the drum..its a joke ,i sang and as soon as the drum kicked off i stopped.He was jumping around like a burnley fan on acid at one time...it looked like someone was arguing with him as well not sure tho. The people tried all afternoon to start chants and he spoiled everyone one ..he even banged along to WHAT DOU YOU THINK OF BURNLEY ..UNBELEVIBLE.

scotty ..NOONE has said for the drummers to banned from ewood..just the drums !!!! has mcm said we never had drums before you was born so dont say without the drums theres no atmosphere.Have you ever chatted to fans of other teams? i do on a daily basis and they all say when are you getting rid of the pathetic drums. like I said earlier YOU DRUMMERS WIN... ive retired from starting chamts after the farce of the last game... can you tell me what sort of buzz you get from banging at the oppositions goalie??because it makes you lot look sad and childish and shows the entire rovers up. as for saying start new chants and you will drum to them GET IT THRU YOUR "LOOKAT ME MOMMA IM TV" SKULL.....WE DONT WANT DRUMS FORGODS SAKE.

how does it add to the atmosphere when hes banging at the goalie on goal kicks?or clapping with the drum ??or stopping chants by doing a total different beat??or doing sill bongo drumming??

I dont normally venture onto the offish board but i did..... There are people sticking up for the drummer,one of the drummers the 19 year old thinks he's doing a good job(well after the last home match i would put the frums on the centre spot fill them with petrol and burn them),billy has his 9 year old yes 9 year old (unless I read it wrong ) drumming and they think as stu put it the "jazz drumming" was good... like I said in the other thread its resulted in me and about 20 people around us retiring from singing because you cant compete with the drums.....call me sad but banging at the goalie and banging instead using his hands for clapping is embarassing to our club and to me the only thing they do is LOOK AT ME ME MUM IM TELLY BANGING ME DRUM AGAIN

went to lightwater valley on saturday..fantastic value £58 for a family of four ticket,my eldest is timid but persuaded him on quite a few rides he screamed and called me but went on most a second time ..my youngest doesnt give a monkeys about anything went on every ride but the eagles claw frightened him....top day out not as much choice as alton towers but perfect for 9-11 years.

i was doing discus practice for lancs schools and my dad was late ,i rember my dad driving like a loon to get us there on time.We got there as the other birdie (anyone know what hes up to now) waqs told he couldnt take a carry out full of ale in the ground ,so he necked about 8 cans one after the other ...i remember the stand rocking and nearly being burned down and i remer being the firtst to be thrown over the wall after the game and how we celebrated...haahahah my dad stopped at an offy in bolton and bought a bottle of champagne which we drank and goping to school the day after ith a hangover.....what a day...probably even more than when we won the league my favorate ( also apart from beating bumley too) day as a rover.
