  1. I rang at 9.00 on the dot... took about 10 minutes to go down and I got my tickets by 9.10.

I've done the maths and this story adds up.

good job it was 10 minutes then because after your ten fingers had been counted it would be hard to count your hooves . biggrin.gif

  2. got in the queue at 3.30ish,got my ticket. The queue is down the cocourse and down to the riverside and back up to jw end and back down to female toilets again.

15,000 in the queue....wouldnt of thought there would any tix left by this avo.

  3. just a thought- i dont think anyone has mentioned this before...

I believe the Cricket Field Stand holds somewhere around 4000-4200 in total- yet we have been given 3800 tickets.

therefore- i assume they must be having an area of seats closed off, probably between the away end and the Longside?

unfortunately, as i have to work in and around dinglesville, if this is the case then the numbties will claim these are seats we failed to sell- even if all our 3800 tickets are snapped up.

anyone know if this is true?

It won't matter in the grand scheme of things because regardless of a sell out of not you can be assured that in years to come burnley fans will believe we failed to sell out and the they had 10,000 stood outside.

Thats just the way it goes.... biggrin.gif

lol gav im in the office and one of the dingles said to me there was a half mile queue today .I just laugh me bollux off! laugh.gif

  4. The Premiership is awful this season, fact.

    No actually that's an opinion.

The SPL is a hideously weak league. As stated, a draw is a bad result in Scotland. If somehow either of the Old Firm are beaten by their minnow opponents, such a loss can seriously derail their season, especially with so much riding on the derby.

It's pathetic and it isn't something that a player in his prime should wish to return to.

And go back a few pages, and you'll see my comparisons between the SPL and the Premiership. We have a dominance up here, while Man Utd have it down south.

Get off your Premiership high horse, and remember you're hardly a "big" club yourselves.

Another correction, you (Rangers) don't have any dominance, anywhere. Nor for that matter do United.

By the way, when did we claim to be a "big club"?

    13 titles in 20 years?

I'd call that a dominance. Especially nine of those being in a row.

aye not bad in a two team league.....................now go and change fergies nappy its full of baby @#/?

  5. just got back..........that first half had to the worst 1/2 ive seen in years .could have been 5 behind Todd and Neill were absolutly @#/?.Second half was a bit better but I cant see us ever scoring again we look that bad.

We also had the most BLATENT penalty in the history of football turned down with a push that everyone in the ground saw bar the big nosed dingle referee who works in nelson college .

  6. longsider ....see i can be friendly hee hee.........ITS NOT CHRISTMAS DAY ITS BOXING DAY

should i park up the side street where my car got baseball batted back into shape where my teeth got almost reaarranged until i drove straight down the footpath nearly runninng over dingles rovers and coppers without a care as 30 chased me .....funny now but not then...........

balls to coaches ......gannow is good lush ....or was should i say.

  7. On a side issue, I was telling my lad last night about the trips to Burnley in the early 70's in the Lancs Cup games and friendlies. Blackburn railway station was awash with hundreds of Rovers fans making their way to Burnley. If you imagine the number of people in the concourse under the Bburn End last night 15 mins prior to kick off, that was what the station was like. None of this "I'm going to sh!t myself so I'll go on the coach" rubbish. You just turned up in numbers and went. Service train or car. Never the coach. In those days, however, there were no "Nouveau Rovers fans" just local lads for whom the Burnley game meant everything.

ARISE SIR LEFT BOOT THE ABSTER SALUTE YOU smile.gif

  8. Does the technology exist to blank out satellite reception within specific post codes during broadcast of a game? Just a theory I have about preventing viewing within a certain radius of any PL ground at which the match is being played as part of the next Sky deal.

We could by some sort of device to jam the signals  laugh.gif

You just need a bigger country!

The NFL has some bizarre television rules, but one of the good ones is that a game cannot be seen in the home marketplace unless it has been sold out 48 or 72 hours in advance (I forget which).

    faiders are always blacked out!

  9. game is reportedly on ppv but I have not seen this anywhere else aprat form Rovers page 504 itv

Can anyone confirm if this game is on live on either ppv or any of the foreign satellite channels locally?

I've checked out satfootball.com and it's on a channel called supersport6sa or something. Is that available in any of the pubs in the area?

MY TICKET SAYS 3 WEBSITE SAYS 3????GRRRRRRRRRRRWTF?

  10. . In the final third of the pitch we were again extremely poor. We know thats our problem and it showed again.

AND HERE IS THE PROBLEM 21 GOALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOMEONE TAKE THE GOALS BY TH E BOLLLLUX AND DO WHAT YOU ARE PAID TO DO!!! IF NOT BYE BYE SIMPLE AS.........................BEDTIME NIGHT NIGHT .....................STILL GUTTED

  11. Definitely announced it as the 'last' two away games. Why that I don't know. If anything it should be any two or more even but why pick the last two. Unless as some have said the announcer was wrong but he definiteley announced that.

    he did for sure.

i know a certain doo dah has to be set but surely somewhere along the lines cardiff home or away(i was working) or colchester should come into the equation.same comp and all that.

and as people say time off work sux some employees wont let you have time off,me im putting in for a day off for a 3am queue and if they say no unkle hughy spewy will let me.

  12. Granted, they probably have enough tickets to satisfy all who wish to go to the Dingle Dome, but many will still try to ensure they get a ticket by queuing virtually all night long, and then go into work afterwards. Stupid if you ask me. mad.gif

CLOCK SET 3AM ?OOOPS AM I DAFT.....DONT SHOUT ALL AT ONCE!

  13. gutted....thought we deserved something ,nelsen looked a rock,my only gripe apart from 0 points is why didnt we go for it...I thought we could have thrown amo up front to help dicko a bit and to get in terrys skin a bit more......

IF THAT TEAM GO ON TO WIN THE LEAGUE GOD HELP FOOTBALL BECAUSE I THINK ITS DYING!!!!!!!
