But you did seem to be implying that Yorke deserved what he got because of where he warmed up and the amount of time he took doing it. racist abuse ...no. abuse ...yes...at least 4000 in the blackburn end thought so . alls Im saying all this could have avoided had he done a normal warm up instead of kneeling down in front of the blackburn end for twenty mins,what exactlty was he warming up for twenty mins because ive been doing stretching and warming up for nigh on 30 years and have never come acrooss an exercise that involves kneeling for 20 minutes.maybe he was meditating.

To clear this up, it's not up to substitutes where they warm up, because law 3 states That when combined with this means that players warming up will ask permission from the 4th official and will be told where they can warm up. 9 times out of 10 they will be instructed (as Lee pointed out in an earlier post) to warm up in the half of the field where the linesman is officiating on the side of the pitch where the dugouts are. Presumably because the laws governing the technical area are fairly strict as well so the subs are sent to warm up where the lino can make sure they're not conveying messages to players or coaching from the sidelines. tris not patronising anyone ,but ffs a player warming up usually runs the line a few times ,stretches and goes back to the dug out....not kneel down in front of home fans for twenty mins.

a lot of the boos at the time yorke came on were for the one eyed linesman...who had just kicked his labroder in the nuts with his stick.

to everyone having a pop at the half time boos....hand on heart i think it gave them the wake up call they needed. Well done on gritty determined 2nd half,lets hope the one point is the kick start for the season because if we hadnt scored 1st in the second half i had a feeling a sixer was coming our way and a defeat today would have demorolised us.

well islam or whatever ,what religion has to do with this emotive subject is beyond me .....going back to what colin said earlier about family members.... ive beeb chatting to a friend of mine today whose been telling me about his daughter being abused by his wifes dad and the police have warned him if anything happens then my friends in a lot of trouble...even his wife wants bad ###### for her dad.I didnt know what to say or do ,just feel so bad for t he family and more family members have come forward as well.
